I ordered a 10L and a 12R because the 10R was out of stock.  The 10 fit perfect but unfortunately was way too long and couldn’t wear it.  The 12R fit well but was a bit too big under the arms but wasn’t noticeable.  The dress has beautiful lines but it is a bit heavy material so i wouldn’t recommend for warmer weather.  

This was a second choice that RTR overnighted to me. My first dress did not work the way I was hoping. I’m a sucker for a good ball gown and this did not disappoint! I didn’t have to wear a bra because the fabric was so tight up top that there was no room for movement or extra fabric. It was tight enough that it smoosh the girls down a bit but I didn’t think it was a bad thing. It gave an incredibly flattering figure with the a line bottom. I loved the high neck it felt so classy! 
I did get the long because that was the only option, and it was long. I’m 5’ 6” and had to pick it up to walk. I chose to wear flats for comfort and didn’t mind picking it up. If I wore 2-3” heels I’m sure I would not have had to pick it up. 

For reference I am a m/L in shirts. An 8/10 in pants. And a typical 14 in dresses. I am a full 38DD. 

This dress was forgiving and tight in all the right places. My husband even said if I wanted to buy it I could because he thought it was that flattering and something I could enjoy rewearing. Now of course he doesn’t get the joy of a new dress every time. But it is something I could see my self rewearing I loved it so much! 

This was such an amazing dress.  The fabric is so much better in person.  It is a little thick - so it wouldn't be good for a spring or summer wedding. 

Loved this dress and got a lot of compliments! I wore it to a black tie wedding in Manhattan and someone told me I was the best dressed person there (besides the bride ofc)! Highly recommend!! 
I found the dress to be a bit long, I’m tall and thought the Tall would fit me better, but I ended up liking the length of the Regular. I wore it with both 2” heels and flats, and the length was great for either.

I usually wear between 14 and 16, this was a 16. The upper body was tight but not suffocating and hid my belly well. Which is a win! My only critique is the length was a little too long and I had to be careful not to trip in my 3” heels. Otherwise this was the perfect dress for a red carpet event!

Absolutely loved this dress - the fit, the fabric, the quality. Really stunning shape that is super flattering and comfortable. Had pockets which was a huge bonus! Would highly recommend. Fit was true to size

Little tight in the boob area for us big chested girls. But I got sooooo many compliments on it and felt amazing. Zipper was tough on this one, don’t know if that was the dress overall or just the size I rented. 

Love this dress!!  Fit like a glove.  Length is perfect for 5’7” with a 1” kitten heel.  Pockets!  No Spanx needed!  Perfect bra=Harper Wilde.  

Loved this dress for a formal charity event. Received soo many compliments and was comfortable! 

This dress is stunning on and so comfortable. I did need to size up bc of the waist and chest (34D and not much of a waist). I am 53yo for reference. The dress runs long. I am wearing 2.75 inch heels and 5’6” and a Regular length was perfect. The dress has a slight bustle in the back making it look even more flattering. 

This dress was everything I hoped for and more!!! I had initially rented a different gown that didn’t work out, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this one—and thankfully, RTR came through just in time, getting it to me only hours before a black-tie wedding. From the moment I walked in, I felt like the belle of the ball. The dress is incredibly comfortable, has pockets, and radiates timeless, understated elegance. Even the wedding planning team approached me to say they select a “Best Dressed Guest” at every event—and this time, they unanimously chose me! I can’t recommend this gown enough—12/10!!!

Receive so many compliments!!! it was very comfortable to wear because it wasn't too tight on the waist. I did have to wear 2 1/2 inch heels so that it would not drag on the ground. 

ordered a 6 & 8, i typically wear a 6 but it was a little snug—i planned on dancing, so opted for the more comfortable size. wore shapers underneath, as it hit right in the middle of my stomach and i felt better with a little smoothing underneath. 

Great shape and fit. Comfortable. The back was very pretty. Not too heavy. Pockets. 

First off this is a beautiful dress in person! Small flowers on black material. I am 5’5 and it was long on me, I wore 3” heels and still had to pick it up to walk. The skirt portion is very full, it has 3 layers. And it has pockets! I could’ve opted out of a clutch had I known.  
I’m generally a 0 or 2 in dresses and the bodice on this was tight. I didn’t order 2 sizes in this to try so I made it work. Highly recommend! 

Elegant, classic style for ‘mature’ woman without looking matronly.  Received many compliments!  Fabric really sets it apart from department store formal gowns 

Loved this dress! It was so comfortable and flattering. 10/10 would recommend you rent it! My normal size is 14, but only size 16 was available which ended up working out fine. A 14 would have fit a tad better, but it didn’t effect the fit enough for anyone to notice. 

The material is thick and it does run long..definitely need to wear with heels. Pockets are great. I didn’t need to wear a bra very form fitting and supportive. 

Even though I didn’t end up wearing this, it was absolutely beautiful. 

The 4P was not available. I ordered the 4R and 2P. The 2P was too tight in the chest, but I normally wear a 4 anyway. The 4R was a little too long, but I made it work. I will definitely rent again and hope that the 4P is available. Lots of complements and felt beautiful in it.

Loved this and felt like a queen. The dress is long, and I normally wear a size 2 but they only had 4 and 6 for this. I wore the 4 and it fit like a 2 to me. Pockets were amazing. The detail on the dress is gorgeous. A bit long so I wore 4” heels and was still tripping a bit (worth it). Loved it so much. 

Great quality with a striking silhouette and pockets! The brocade was subtle but elegant and the dress fell so nicely. I am larger chested but did not have to wear a bra, which was a plus, as well. It’s long (I’m 5’ 9” and wore 2.5 inch heels, which made it fall just above the ground) and I received so many compliments!

I have been eyeing this dress for a while and I finally got it to wear for a photo shoot for my website. It’s gorgeous. First like a glove. Very flattering and forgiving. I cannot wait for an actual event to wear it to!

This dress was amazing. It felt expensive and the picture do not show the floral texture but it is to die for. It fit perfectly and I was the best dressed one at the gala. Get this dress and you won't be sorry. 


. Dress fit perfect, even the length was great with a short heel. So many compliments about the dress. 

I ordered this dress in a 0P and 2P and received a 0 and a 2 in separate orders. RTR was not the most helpful and simply said the petite sizes were unavailable (even though I had reserved them a month prior). That was frustrating. I am 5’1” so the non-petite sizes were very long. I ordered a pair of 6” platform heels and made it work. Other than that snafu, the dress is gorgeous and very comfortable! A little sparkle and pockets!! I will note that the 0 had a crinoline lining for more poof, and the 2 did not. 

This dress was comfortable and made me feel like a princess! Needed a little steam work before wearing. But absolutely fantastic dress!

I wore this to a black tie wedding and received so many compliments! I was nervous it was too conservative for me but it was truly perfect and I felt amazing in it. I’m 5’3”, wore heels and the dress just skimmed the floor 

Love this dress! Wore 2.5” heels and it was still long. I’m 5’4 and could have used the short/petite but this one worked because I could use pockets to lift it a bit or carry the bottom to the side when walking. Has an open back but can wear a normal bra, I hooked one of the plastic pieces you use to pull bra straps together - typically used in the back but I used it in the front and worked like a charm - no bra peeking out of the arm holes. Best part- fabric was so thick I didn’t need any kind of skims/spanks - most comfortable I’ve ever felt at an event. Plus deep pockets meant no purse needed!

I loved this dress. I wore it to a black tie wedding and it was spot on. I got a lot of compliments. It was long for me (I’m 5’3) even in heels it was still long but I didn’t mind. It fit great and photographed perfectly. I got a 12 and 14 and wore the 14. The 12 wouldn’t zip all the way. 

I typically fluctuate between a 0 and 2, I ended up wearing the 2R. It fit perfectly!! I wore fairly tall heels and the dress length was just right. If you are looking to wear shorter heels (under 5”) it could end up being long. The pattern was gorgeous and I am still receiving complements. It was so comfy and easy to wear all night long. Good quality material & perfect for a formal wedding.

I ordered and wore the 8R which was a little loose(but not noticeable). The 6R wasn’t available. I also Wore 2 inch heels which allowed dress to hover off of the ground. Received compliments all night long! 

This dress fit perfectly and was a total show-stopper!  I got the 6L and it fit perfectly 

O B S E S S E D! got so many compliments, fit perfectly, was so fun to dance in, pockets! the photos don’t do it justice, the print is more 3D and textured and lightly glittered which made it feel more special than “just” a black dress. perfect length with 2 inch heels.

Structure was great, upper body fit was beautiful! a tiny bit long for me at 5'10" wearing block heel loafers but manageable. Overall, definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved wearing this dress! This size fit me like I glove so I even rented another dress from the same designer for the rehearsal dinner. Only looking back at the photos do I think it was a little short and maybe I could have gotten a long size, but I switched to flats for half the night anyway. The black on black fabric pattern was gorgeous in every light and photo. The high neck was comfortable and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Stored my phone and lipstick and tissues in the pockets all night, a dream dress! 

The size and shape were perfect! I got so many compliments!
