I loved the latest version of this Philip Lim dress in navy blue so I’ve been trying to get my hands on this one for a couple of months. It’s a little tougher to get because it’s older & I suspect sizes are selling out. Since I couldn’t get my usual size 4 I decided to take a chance on the 6. Overall it was a little big but the adjustable straps at the waist make it work. It was also really long on me at 5’2” and it was so voluminous I HAD to wear 6” heels or I looked like a little kid playing dress-up. I love the color and the cut but prefer the addition of the textured fabric on the navy blue . It’s a beautiful dress but would probably be better on me in a smaller size - or on a taller person 😉

I love 3.1 Phillip Lim. The color and details in this dress were top notch. Completely work appropriate in a standout style. 

And it has pockets? If it didn't run so large, I would have purchased instantly. This dress is perfect. 

Wore this to my son's wedding - which was camping in a state forest - so no heels, of course. But due to my prosthetic leg I don't wear them anyway. The dress was comfortable, in the warmer than expected weather. The length worked well for me.

This is a rare dress that is both a bit avant garde and very traditionally flattering. The slight puff sleeve, high neck and angular cinching of the waist belts have a vaguely military, almost fembot feeling. Easy to adjust the sizing at the waist, and while it can be worn looser it gives an exaggerated corset like fit at the waist. I don’t like most greens but this is a very pure true green that is beautiful. It’s a real star that is chic enough for a work event but comfortable enough for wandering on the weekend. 

RTR team member here! I have the honor of wearing this dress to my father funeral which held a green dress code. I received so many compliments. Not only was it conservative it was flattering. I thought about purchasing the dress because it was so well-made and fitted. You will not go wrong.

Maybe it’s because I’m 5’4” but I felt like this was a lot of dress. Voluminous on bottom, able to cinch at waist. I liked wearing but not my fave. Wore it to work but probably wouldn’t rent again. 

Loved this dress. Very flattering and waist-narrowing. 4 would have fit better than the 6 I wore but it wasn’t available. It was slightly too long but worked in the stage context. 

The dress was the perfect fit  and the color was vibrant the style was timeless 
I will rent again definitely.

Awesome color. Can be dressed up or down. Very versatile because sides adjust. 2 was a little too big on me. Zero was just right. Comfy. Pockets are the best. 

This dress fit me perfectly. I wore it to a work convention and it was the right amount of dressy & professional. The material isn’t too stiff and the waist can be adjusted with the straps on the side. Could be worn with any type of shoe to dress it up or dress it down. 

I love the color, cut, and quality of this dress. It’s slightly long on my 5’6 frame so if it were mine I’d def hem it. Perfect for all day work meetings.

This dress was incredibly comfortable and stylish. The adjustable straps on the waist was just what I needed with my fluctuating weight. I am 5’8” and work this with sneakers and flats. 

Got so many compliments and if I could keep it I would have! Very comfortable and flattering. I am usually a size 0-2. 30DD bust and weigh 115lbs 

I am obsessed with this dress!! I wore this for a bridal luncheon. I ordered a 4 and ended up wearing the 2, I would say it runs a little big, but the 2 was perfect. You can easily tighten the belts at the sides to make it more fitting through the waist. The color is amazing. The fabric is super light weight. The high neck is so flattering! 

The only reason I give this 4 stars is because with my height and weight, it looks a bit matronly and is too long. I think it would look amazing on someone taller though. The fit overall was great, just tool long for my 5'1" frame. Love Phillip Lim vibrant and bold colors and structural elements .

This is one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever put on. The straps on the side of waist extend or expand and it SNATCHES your waist. The neckline and back are suitable for work and very conservative. Length is perfect. Quality is so amazing. I love. Wish I had it forever!!

Wore this to beetlejuice the musical - you can take it any direction with accessories. I ordered a simple black and white striped leather purse on Amazon and the look was 👌🏼

The side ties naturally accentuate the waist and the movement in the skirt made me feel like I was a main character in a movie. Absolutely incredible dress, I loved it so much!

This dress is fantastic! Got tons of compliments. It is unique but not crazy and fits so well with the adjustable waist straps. Easy to dress up or down. 

Would wear to an event, date, fancy dinner.. I got a million compliments. The straps are adjustable so I loosened them while sitting and tightened while standing/walking. 

Not the silhouette I’d typically go for but the adjustable straps made it fit perfectly. 

I adored everything about the dress. The cut is incredibly flattering, it's springy, feminine, solicited dozens of compliments and is just perfectly tailored. I wish I had the budget to buy it outright!

I directed Shrek the Musical and wore this to the performances- a modest enough dress to wear as a teacher, but still really fun! Plus THE POCKETS so I always had my keys, cell and headset! Lots of compliments. I’m between a 6 and 8 so ordered both but ended up wearing the 6, so that was a boost to the ego too ☺️ At the after party I had the opportunity to change but stayed in it because it was so comfy! 

Such a winner! I’ve never had so many compliments on a dress. One of the bartenders at the wedding even told me it was the best dress at the function. Wish I could keep it. 

I was planning on wearing this dress to a wedding, but the material was a little casual (but still cool); so I ended up wearing it to the wedding brunch the next day. I'm really tall, and normally wear a size 10, but the 8 was nice and fitted. This dress had a great movement and I loved that it was unusual, fun and kind of prairie meets utilitarian!

this dress fit wonderfully! it was hard to find the right jacket for it bc I wore it in weather probably too cold for the dress, but I got sooo many compliments! it was also super comfortable

This dress did not disappoint! The cinch at the waist really flatters and the length was perfect for my short frame. I wore this to a wedding that required formal attire in a rustic setting and, paired with suede boots, this fit the bill perfectly.
