I received so many compliments on this dress. I was hoping it would fit because I'm a 4/6 and it was a 4 but it was perfect.  Needed a little help getting it zipped up no issues unzipping. Opted to class it up further with a sash and broach. 10/10.

Stunning in person! Like other reviewers mentioned, the metallic detailing on the flowers looks even better up close—especially in low light. The fabric is very heavy, which worked perfectly for my late-fall event. Even though the dress is sleeveless, I stayed warm all night (honestly, sometimes too warm). If you plan on dancing a lot, this may not be the best choice.
The fabric has absolutely no stretch, so I had to size up several sizes to accommodate my bust. The upside is that the larger size gave the skirt more volume and created extra room in the pockets. I was able to fit a Samsung S22 and my glasses in one pocket, and my medication and small notecards in the other.
A quick note: the back of the gown touches the floor when sitting, so you need to be careful when sitting or moving to stand—just make sure to sweep it aside. Despite the stiffness of the material, the dress was surprisingly comfortable to sit in.
Overall, a very beautiful gown!

This was such a great dress. I ordered the 10 and the 12 and the 10 fit perfectly. I have an average sized bust and it didn't feel tight on top at all. I am not that tall, so the back was a bit long, but with a heel there was no dragging. I spent a lot of time sitting, so I was able to maneuver the dress just fine. I received a lot of compliments. The metallic color is even prettier in real life. If I have another event I might rent it again!

This dress fit so comfortably and was a stunner. Would highly recommend 

I got this for a black tie wedding and it was perfect! I got so many compliments on it, and it had pockets! The 0 was a little tight up top, especially around the neck, and if my chest were any bigger than an A cup it probably wouldn't have fit. A 2 probably would have been perfect, even if it may have been a bit longer. 

Imagine my surprise to learn there were POCKETS!!!! Wore without a bra and had no issues. 

When I order from rent the runway I usually get a four and a six regular because I never know how the sizes are going to run. This dress I wore a six. It's a beautiful fit just think about where you're going to be wearing it like are you going to fit into the seat where you're sitting, how easy is it going to be going to the bathroom etc. I received lots of compliments I have nothing negative to say about this dress.

This dress will forever live in my head rent-free! 
I wore this for an awards ceremony and was complimented all night long. The dress is incredibly flattering, the fabric feels high-quality, and the design is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. I received so many compliments when I wore it! It hugs in all the right places and was comfortable enough to wear all night. This dress made me feel confident and elegant—definitely a great choice for any formal occasion. 

I'm 5' and with a comfortable wedge heel, the dress was perfect length. BONUS: IT HAS POCKETS 😍

Loved this dress! The high cut made it comfortable to wear but the shimmer to the fabric and high low hem made it flirty. So many compliments!

This dress is amazing. I loved the way it made me fit and I got so many compliments all evening.  The fit was great. The chest area was a little tight but the 0 fit better everywhere better than the 2.  Plus there were POCKETS!!  Would recommend tho dress to anyone!

have been a 6 but the 8 dress fit a little more comfortably. The high/low works great for short girls . I loved the pockets and the movement. 

20 weeks pregnant, small chest still and was tight on the girls. But fit wonderfully every where else. Got lots of compliments.

The "A frame" style of this dress was just perfect for a Gala event where I was speaking to a large audience. It was flattering and glamorous without being too much. 

True to size, maybe a little tight in the chest area (did not wear a bra, I'm a C cup). So comfortable and loved the pockets! Wore for a black tie wedding. 

This has an almost halter-type cut up to the shoulders. Small for my broad shoulders. The rest of the dress fit great and love that it has pockets.

Size up. I'm usually a 12, the 14 fit me perfect. 

I ADORED this dress. It was beautiful, comfortable, and had pockets I could easily fit my phone & chapstick in. I would have bought this dress in a heartbeat if it were an option! I got a ton of compliments and felt great in it. I have a very large chest and the dress did compress & flatten me some, but it wasn't uncomfortable and it didn't look bad. 

I wore this dress to my wife's cousin's black tie wedding. (My wife is also pictured in another RTR dress ^_^) It was my first RTR rental, and I was very pleased with it. I felt so elegant and had the best dress there, IMO. Wrinkles came out easily with a steamer. ***A note on fit: the 6 looked too roomy on me, so I went with the 4. However, as the evening wore on, I noticed that it chafed a bit at the armpits and across my collarbone. Off the rack, this dress might better fit someone with a larger ribcage and/or bust than I (I'm between a 30C and 32B).

Loved this dress, it seems so luxe, but the fabric has no stretch to it. I have a bigger chest so I felt like I was being flattened in that area. Overall, I felt it made me appear wider. 

This dress was even more stunning in person! The pink and gold florals really sparkled in the light. I got SO MANY compliments throughout the event. The waist was very comfortable, and the flowy high-low skirt allowed for ease of movement and looked great! Length was also good for a tall person. As others have mentioned, the bust is TIGHT! I was able to zip the dress, it looked fine, and it was definitely wearable. It was just really constricting at the neckline/shoulder and under the arm bc of this. Also, the pleats were a little messed up from shipping and they didn’t hold well at first. But all in all, a lovely dress that I felt amazing in!

This dress is so beautiful. I loved the high neck. Despite being conservative it looks so classy and feminine on. Highly recommend. Fits in a formal affair, but the full skirt is show-stopping.

Beautiful dress. I felt pretty and received a number of compliments.  Just a little tight (on me) in the chest and I’m  not well endowed.  Go one size up for comfort.

My usual size (10r) was unavailable and the 8 was a bit of a squeeze across my back but it looked stunning! The tightness just meant I had to sit up straight all night, which isn't a bad thing. Other than that, the dress was super comfy and the thick fabric kept me relatively warm for an outdoor February wedding.

It was great with a fancy heel but it also didn't look too bad when I opted to wear sneakers for the after party. 

I loved this dress and got so many compliments. I wore it to an event in NYC. I’m 5’1 and the length was perfect. It was comfortable to walk and sit in for a few hours. It is shimmering and bold but not over the top. 

Fit just a little bit large which made it very comfortable for dancing, eating and sitting.  I”m short so hutch dresses tend to run long on me but I don’t mind since the pockets were so much more important to me than the length. Got LOTS of compliments 

It fit me well in the bust (38-40 DD) and hugged my waistline perfectly! After having two abdominal surgeries this year, I wanted a formal dress that didn’t show my still slightly swollen abdomen. I wore this stunner to my company holiday party and it was a hit. It fit so nicely and was really comfortable! As other reviews mentioned, it’s tight in the chest, but that meant I could get away with no bra. The cut of the dress is great if you don’t want to accentuate your belly, which was important to me! Absolutely no complaints about this one. 10/10!



This was my back-up dress but I ended up wearing it to a black-tie dinner in NYC. Absolutely gorgeous fabric and great fit. The high-low cut in the front was really flattering. I got tons of compliments!

I was so desperate to have this dress for a wedding that I ordered a size smaller (they were out of my size) I still get beautiful and received a ton of compliments. I ordered a size 6, and needed an 8. My fault. I imagine it would have been perfect though! 

This dress was perfect for a fall wedding! I love that it had pockets and fit through the waist helping me not feel "lost in the dress" sometimes important since I am short. The fabric is very nice quality, thick but too thick and the print and colors are a very rich and classy combination. Highly recommend!
