I always have this issue, but I have a small waist, busty chest (for my frame) and a short torso, so fit and flare dresses rarely fit me perfectly. This was on of them, I ended up wearing the size 2 even though the waist was too big, my chest didn't fit well in the size zero even in a lightly lined bra. The torso at the waist had a bump b/c my torso was so short so I ended up tying a bow barrette around the middle fabric which also tightened the waist. All in all I got a comment that my dress was the hottest one there and that I rocked it. So not a waste!

Lots of compliments! I was worried that the back would be a little racy but it wasn't. Felt slim!

The dress is a little long for petite women (I'm 5'3") but the cut out waist, nearly open back, and netting on the skirt make it sexy. Beautiful raw silk texture and easy to pair with accessories. Would rent again for the right occasion.

The dress was a dream! I would wear it again in a heartbeat. I tend to look for dresses that are conservative, but have some flare and this one had it! I wore it to a formal wedding and got compliments all night. The cut outs added the right amount of fun to the dress, without being too revealing. The top was a little tight around my chest, I am a size 5'8, 135 pounds and wear a 34 A, so if you have a larger chest it might be a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I love this dress! 

It is a very fitted dress, so I didn't have much room to wiggle, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I am small chested so I wore a bra but the strap at the back would move so sometimes my bra would show, I should have just gone no bra so thats some future advice. I wanted a sexy dress, but not where people were like "What is she wearing" It was the perfect dress to make the statement I wanted to. People were saying all night, "I wish I was small enough to wear that cute thing" which I am not super small so it shows off the good parts of your body. 

A little small on the top so I wore the 2 instead of 0 but I loved it!

I got so many compliments and it was very flattering. Helped give more of an hourglass shape to my figure. The one concern I had was that the skirt was a little too big around so it hung lower in the back. I wear a 34D bra and the top  fit perfectly. I would recommend this dress to anyone!

The fit of the dress is a little awkward (or maybe my body is the awkward one lol) but the waist was a lot more lose than expected however on the chest it was very tight. I had read that in previous reviews but figured I could do a non padded bra and it would work out, and it did. The length is perfect for dancing, the color is a beautiful deep navy wore it with a bold red lip and it was literally the best combination ever. 

I wore this dress to my husbands class reunion, which was a semi-formal. Pros- this dress is a dark navy, not black, and has playful cutouts in it, making it fun yet appropriate. Cons - my height is just a little under 5'2" ,  so the torso part was a bit long and caused some gapping in the cut outs. I would recommend using garment tape. The bust is also pretty tight and I am not busty. 

I wore this to my residency graduation for work. The color and fit were great - as expected from the online pics. It showed a lot of skin, which didn't bother me but might not be for every event. 
Over all loved wearing it. 

This dress looks much better in pictures than in person. I ended up wearing a dress I own rather than this rental because it fit so poorly. The skirt part was very loose and hung down in the back (27 jeans size) and though the top fit well around my body, the front part of the top was too baggy due to my small/average chest size. I don't recommend this dress for pear/athletic shapes if you have a small waist/chest. The skirt part was awesome looking; I just wish it had fit better! Also important to note, as I apparently did not read closely enough: this dress is navy, not black. 

This dress was very small in the chest so I had to size up to a 4. Sizing up caused the waist to be loose. However, this dress was very flattering and I received many compliments. I was a little concerned about how much skin the dress showed, but the dress was still tasteful and appropriate. Would definitely rent again.

Received compliments all night! The dress was so incredibly comfortable and effortless! I have a larger chest and did not wear a bra but it wasn't an issue at all. Did not have any issues with under or side boob. Loved this dress! 

Loved this dress! Top is tight fitting while the bottom fits more true to size. Super fun and unique dress.

Beware of the under boob poking out. Other than that, great dress for an outdoor event. The back is everything. 

The fit is true to size. I read all the reviews ahead of time and many say that it is smaller so I ordered a size up. I typically wear a 0 and ordered a 2 and 4 instead. I wore the 2 but it was a bit big around the waist. The top part fit well but I'm sure the 0 would have still fit nicely. The only weird part was the middle that attaches the top to the bottom. It kinda sticks out a bit but really to big of a deal. Overall I really liked it and got a lot of compliments! 

I was a little hesitant when I first tried this on because it does show a lot of skin on the sides and the back, but I quickly started to feel more comfortable in it and ended up loving it. If it were just the zipper at the waist, the 4 would have been better, but because of my bigger bust I went with the 6.  I'm also curvy on the bottom, but the skirt on the dress is very flattering. All in all, another RTR success! 

If you have a bigger chest it can run a little tight up top! The waist fit perfectly, and I was able to wear a normal bra. It looked a little weird without one. 

RENT THIS DRESS. The compliments were endless and the fit is perfect! I chose not to wear a bra and the size 4 (my normal dress size) fit perfect. I just used some fashion tape, but if you're small chested you really wouldn't need it. The waist was not too tight, so it didn't pinch my stomach when I sat whatsoever --it was truly an amazing and comfortable dress! SO many people loved it and I felt so beautiful in it! The necklace I wore was also from RTR and went PERFECTLY together! 

Wore this for my bachelorette party! Was the perfect dress for a night out. It's classy but edgy. Loved it!

Loved the unique look got so many compliments. So great for a summer occasion. 

The top bodice is too long and missing under boob darts- I had to pin/tack this to fit correctly. The top back zipper would slip open throughout the night too. The fabric is a textured silk, feels expensive! Overall a 3 out of 5 stars due to fit issues, but photographs well and flatters my curves easily.

The fit was perfect and flattering. Usually I find dresses with cut-outs can get quite uncomfortable after wearing them for a long time- but this dress great for 6+ hours of wear!

I have wide hips so the volume of this skirt was super flattering on my body shape! Received compliments all night long!

Wore it to my holiday party and loved it. It has interesting details and can be accesorized various ways. I had no problem with the fit - ordered both a 4 and 6 just in case and 4 ended up working fine. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to do something a little different!

I loved this dress and got tons of compliments. It is a little hard to fit, as it fit in the bust but was a little too large around the waist. It was a little above knee length so the length was perfect. Paired with nude heels and statement earrings. 

This dress is not for busty women at all!! Because I rented it for Thanksgiving. I did not have the luxury to call RTR and have them send a new one because of the holiday, and I didn't want to have my rental go to complete waste. The bottom half of the dress fit very well so I tucked the top half in side the bottom portion of the dress paired it with a light weight peasant top and wore the dress as a skirt for the holiday. The outfit was a huge hit, but I'm lucky I have a knack for fashion or I would have been so disappointed. 

However, I am sure this dress rocks on any woman who is way less endowed than I am. So for all of you...rent away! This is a show stopper. I loved the material. It is more blue than black and the white trim on the dress is white mesh which was a nice touch. 

Loved the dress itself. Skirt has a puff to it that makes it feminine and forgiving. The chest fit nicely, too. Just a challenge where the point in front connects to the skirt. I liked the dress and have no regrets renting it, but wouldn't rent again. And perhaps wouldn't recommend to others. Despite having a svelte figure, I felt a little boxy. And the gap that formed at the belly button was weird. My torso is fairly long, despite reading similar comments from others I went ahead and reserved it. I should have headed their warnings! 

Great dress! High neck balanced the side cut outs well. I got so many compliments--made my upper half look tiny!


I wore the 2R because the top part runs VERY SMALL. 

I rented this for an early fall Wedding in Montauk and it was a complete hit.  The high neckline kept it appropriate while the cut outs added a little sexy touch.  Depending on the style of dress and designer I can range between a 2, 4, or even a 6 (I'm petite but have a muscular/athletic build)  Based on other reviews I ordered the 4 and a back up 6.  The 4 fit great and I was able to wear a regular bra.  I really think this could flatter many different body types.  Grab a statement necklace and don't hesitate to order!

It was such a fun dress to wear for an outdoor wedding! Everyone loved the dress; it was nice and classy in the front with a hint of sexiness with the cutouts and open back. It's a fashion-forward, modern dress. I tried on the size 2 but it was too big for my small waist and chest. The size 0 fit nicely although it was a bit baggy in the front where the top and bottom of the dress meet. I felt the scrunching in the front looked odd at first, but I didn't really notice it when I wore it out. It probably gives space for women with a larger chest. The sheer stripes at the bottom of the dress are made of tulle and a little uncomfortable to sit on. Overall a really fun dress and great to dance in! 

It fit perfectly on bottom but as I am top heavy it smashed my boobs. I didn't have a back up dress so i had to wear it and it was wonderful but it was hard to breathe. So if you are not top heavy this dress is amazing and beautiful and just the right kind of sexy. 

This dress was perfect: modern, fashion forward, but definitely still modest even with the cut outs. The shape is really flattering, and I never felt too exposed. It definitely needs a necklace, and if you have a chest (I don't), it might be a little tight up top, but overall I loved this look! The mesh lining on the bottom of the skirt is very delicate though, so be careful with those stilettos!

My typical size in dresses is a 6 and this was no exception. It was tight on the top but I'm a size D so I expected that from the other reviews. Dress is a show stopper. 

I was a little concerned that this dress might show too much skin for a wedding ceremony, however, it was just the perfect amount for an outdoor Summer wedding. For indoor/more formal ceremonies I might suggest a shawl or cover-up until the reception as most of your back/sides will be showing. I received several compliments throughout the evening on the style! The dress fit true to size and was very comfortable for a night of dancing. Would definitely recommend to other renters!

The top was true to size but the skirt did hang a hair lower due it being about a half inch too large. The fabric and color  were stunning. #perfection #glamour #gorgeous

The cut of this dress was very odd, regardless of the size. The bust was very tight and flattening. The fabric across the rib cage, right below the bust, gaped where it should have fit tightly. The waist band was much too large as well so it drooped in the back. I also found the shirt to be a bit too voluminous, and it actually added heft. I did not end up wearing this dress.

The dress was perfect for a 4th of July wedding.  The top part was a little wide at the waist, but other than that, it fit great.  Everyone loved it.  

I am usually a size 6, but ordered the 8 as a backup after reading the reviews. While the 6 fit on the bottom there was no way either was zipping around the top (no give whatsoever).  The AMAZING customer service at RTR sent the 10 as well as a backup dress  to the hotel where the wedding was, and it ended up fitting slightly snug on top and large on the bottom.  The dress looked great, and The length was perfect!
