I have a very athletic and muscular body type making many dress styles and fits uncomfortable. This dress is super comfortable and versatile, giving most body types a very elegant and flattering look. This is the second time I have rented this style (was available in a different color years ago) and would do so again!

I ordered a larger size than needed. It was very long on me and had lots of fabric to navigate as I moved around. Could nearly wear a typical bra with straps but had to fuss with keeping them hidden. Recieved compliments and dress was comfortable. (wish I hadn't needed to wear heals for the night)

I got many compliments on this gown at a black tie wedding in SC.  I ordered it to replace another gown I had tried, an 18 WR was the only size available in the short window of time. The dress is simply beautiful. It is fun and flowy, very comfortable and easy to dance in.  It was too large and long for me but I pinned up the straps and wore platform sandals.  I believe that a 16P would have fit me perfectly.  I will order this dress again in my size. 

I loved wearing this dress! Wore it to a black tie wedding held in downtown Nashville. This dress was comfortable, lightweight, and so much fun. I got compliments on how pretty the pattern and colors were; it’s the perfect dress for spring. As a woman with a larger bust, I loved that it didn’t require a bra and felt secure since it zips all the way up the back. Definitely easy to dance and move around in.

This dress fits fairly true to size. It was a little bit tight on my chest but that's it. Might have should have gotten the 16L. Idk. I had such a fun time wearing it though at my sisters wedding. This is the second time I've rented it. Highly recommend.

I’m 5’10” and I wore a 2 inch platform heel. I would wore the 18L and the length was perfect. The dress fit like a glove but was very comfortable. There is no stretch to the fabric. It was perfect for an outdoor wedding. I have had my eye on this dress for a long time and I’m so happy that I finally had an occasion to wear it.

Wore at ~26 weeks and even when I tried on at 23-24 weeks, I could tell the band right under the boobs would feel tight if I ate. The dress is SO beautiful, but if comfort is of the essence and you are 2nd or 3rd trimester (and even though I sized up 2 full sizes), I’d go with something else. 
Would definitely rent when not pregnant. 

Fits close in the bust, I’m a D cup, and it was flattering. Great for an hourglass figure, as it fit perfectly on my waist. Was a bit long, but with heels, perfect. A LOT of fabric in the skirt, so turns on the dance floor a must. Care needed when going upstairs. 

This dress was perfect for a black tie outdoor wedding in May. I am 5'5 and the 8R length was perfect length with 3" heels. (It's dragging in the photo due to the grass.)  I have an athletic build and it fit like a glove. The pleated empire waste smoothed out my mommy tummy without being to0 constraining. No problems eating and dancing the night away. The material flows beautifully when walking and in the breeze.  Loved it!

I loved this dress. I am 5’5 and with a little bit of heel it was the perfect length. Wonderful for spinning on the dance floor. I wear an 18 and it fit like an 18. You could probably get away with not wearing a bra in this one. I did tho and the dress covered it in the armpits at all times. 

This dress was perfect! The fabric is dressy enough to make the floral print fancier, and the top's shirring had ample room for my DDs. I felt so beautiful and everyone loved my dress. Added a cream colored wrap to ward off night air and a chunky orange necklace, and I couldn't have been happier.

A fun gown to wear. I got tons of compliments. I am rather bustty, so this worked well. 

I love this dress! Wore it to a summer wedding in 83° F, humid weather and was still ridiculously comfortable. The colors are vibrant and I received many compliments but more than that I felt amazing in this dress. I usually feel so uncomfortable and fidgety in dresses but not in this one. I wore leggings under it but no shape wear. I rented the 20 & 22 and while both fit, the 22 allowed for some breathing room and made sitting more comfortable. I rented the long because its what was available but at 5'-6" with 4" heels it just brushed the ground but I'd probably get the regular length in the future. 

Not too long for my 5’4” self as many long dresses tend to be. I liked it! Need a halter or strapless bra if you wear one. 

This dress fit perfectly after sizing up to an 18 and looks amazing, the colors are so vibrant and it does run long as I am 5’8 and even with heels it hit the floor. I am noticing that with RTR my usual 16 size doesn’t fit so I have to go with an 18.

The empire waist was a bit tight and the top made my bust look bigger than it is - I did love the soft flowy fabric.

I am an 8-10. The 8 fit well, but snug around my ribs. The fabric colors were stunning. The lining was silky soft and the print was beautiful. Perfect for weddings and spring/summer parties. 

I wore this to my husband’s friend’s wedding at 38 weeks pregnant and I felt so beautiful! It was a bit tight above my belly, but that is to be expected. I probably would have picked the next size up if I could have. It was comfortable and I got many compliments throughout the night.

I felt elegant and beautiful in this dress. Definitely one of the best dresses I’ve ever worn. I got so many compliments and even did my engagement photos in this dress.

This dress was great! It was comfortable and flattering. No built in bra, but I was able to wear a razorback bra with it and no straps were seen. No body tape needed. The long length was great! I still wore flats with it, but you couldn’t really see my shoes, which always happens in regular length dresses. The colors and pattern were perfect for a spring wedding and I got so many compliments! Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful dress, great quality. Fabric around the waist was a tiny bit snug with no stretch. Didn’t need to wear a bra and so much room for my hips. Was able to comfortably dance. 

I loved wearing this dress. The wedding was in the summer but black tie so I could be comfortable and stand out with the floral impact. I wore heels to make sure it didn’t drag and danced the night away. It covered my midsection in a way that still made me feel comfortable. 

Received so many compliments. I am small on top and top fit great. May need to size up if larger on top. I’m 5’3’’ and dress was a little long with heels.

This dress was divine and made me feel so pretty.  The reason I gave it 4 stars (would have been 4.5 if I could) was that the arm holes were very low and it was very hard to find undergarments for it. I had to wear something on top because without it the girls would have been at my knees. All the bras I found showed under the arms. I finally found a camisole that had a bra in it and was cut low under the arms and it was perfect.

I selected the 16 and 18 and wore the 16. It felt a little tight in the chest area but allowed me to go without a bra. The 18 was too loose in the top and left gaps at the sides. It was also very long. I had on 2 inch heels and it still hit the floor. But it was perfect for a fall wedding!

The dress was so comfortable and fit great ! Badgley Mischka is always my go to designer for dresses !

I loved this dress. I’m 5’10” and about 200lbs in these photos. I ordered a 12&14 and went with the 14. Fit better overall. A little long, but I wore high shoes so it worked. I got a ton of compliments and am considering ordering it again for another wedding!


It is long (I'm 5'3) so I definitely needed heels or it would have dragged the ground.

This may have been the most beautiful and comfortable dress I’ve ever received from RTR. Unfortunately, I’m way too short and the dress was unbelievably long. I would totally buy this dress and hem it if it weren’t so expensive! The fabric was so beautiful and flowy and I felt incredible in it as it fit perfectly in the bust and waist. But alas, even with my tallest (4”) heels, it was still a good 3 inches too long. I have another long dress on order for a future event and now I’m afraid I’ll have to cancel that order and find something else. If you’re at least 5’4” get this dress! You won’t regret it! 

Rented for an outdoor wedding in early September. I wore a strapless bra, but you could absolutely wear a regular bra with the straps clasped into racer back position to prevent any straps showing. The fabric at the waist gives definition to your figure while the bottom half is flowy and conceals any trouble areas. Colors are vibrant, but not too overwhelming as a wedding guest. I rented the 6P as a 5’4” gal and wore 3in block heels - the dress never touched the ground as I walked back and forth all over the grass. I felt so comfortable while sitting, dancing, eating and drinking. No spanx necessary. Definitely recommend for any fall events!

I absolutely loved the fit. In person, the dress is more turquoise dominant than I thought, but I got compliments the whole night. I paired them with earrings from rent the runway as well and I FULLY recommend the combo.

It was an august night with lots of dancing, and the dress breathed well all night. I was really comfortable with my tummy are-no shape wear needed. I wore a cranberry bra, but I would recommend going strapless. Lol and as you can see, the dress goes great with a ginger date.

This dress moves so beautifully! I love the color I was surprised it had more of the blue hue than the pictures I thought. 

This dress! I felt like a billion bucks wearing this dress, have wanted to rent it for so long and my bestie’s wedding was the perfect occasion. The fit was great, was a little worried my chest area was made to appear larger than normal maybe due to the fabric layout, but it worked fine. The waist band was a little tight but comfortable enough to breathe and eat lol I loved how flowy the dress is and so fun to dance in! The colors and flowers are wonderful, was so happy with this rental. I have short legs and was concerned it would be too long but with a small heel the dress lifted just perfect off the ground. Will for sure rent again!  

This dress was so cool and comfortable on a very hot day in New England.  I wear either a 12 or 14. The 14 was unavailable but I was so happy the 12 fit perfectly!!

This dress was a knock out! I felt very elegant and appropriate at a summer wedding. I think it is a little more dressy in real life than the pictures show because of the fabric.
