Wish it was a little warmer for a November Chicago wedding, but I loved that it was easy to put on and had some stretch! Do your hair and makeup after you put it on though, since there’s no zipper

This dress is classic perfection.  The neckline is a boatneck.  The back makes it interesting.  The fabric is scuba.  I ended up going with another option because I wanted something that would stand out a tad more… but this is a really pretty dress.  

I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on this dress! You will not regret renting it. I’m 5’9” and even in flats it was too short though. 

One word...WOW!!!!! I rented this dress for a black tie wedding.  Ordered 40R and 42R. Both fit very nicely with little difference in size due to the stretchy fabric! Wore the 42R only because i felt like i would have more room and be more comfortable. It was a knockout dress!!! Perfect length (I am 5'2" before heels). I received so many compliments throughout the night. Dress was so flattering and hugged body in all the right areas! I did choose to wear shapewear but could have gotten away with none. Also wore a low back bra even though I could have gone without it due to how well the fabric held and there is a 2nd layer for bust area so a bra is not really needed. 

Super comfortable, wore for a work gala and felt like I was appropriately covered while still wearing something interesting and unique. Would absolutely recommend!

hot damn, this dress is a stunner! Thick, hold-you-in fabric and let's talk about the back detail...the complements flow all night and YOU will be the star of the show. Hands down, choose this one! 
Consider heel height and comfort level or a tight, thick material when considering and picking your size. I used the stick on bra pads off Amazon and those worked great for the dress.

Fabulous dress. I love this designer. It was challenging finding the right bra. I ended up going Bra-less,  the fabric does it's best to hold you in.

Bra not necessary. Perfect fit. I’m shorter in my legs and the hem was perfection. I loved the material and how well it held me. I felt taller, too. You’ll love it. 


This dress fits perfectly! The length was also just right. So classy and fun. 

First of all, I got TONS of compliments on my dress, every new person that saw me had a compliment on my amazing dress. I paired it with lattice work black heels. Amazing .

Hi! I own this beautiful dress and after reading many reviews indicating that you should do your hair and makeup first in order to not mess everything up, I wanted to add a comment. You&#39;re supposed to step INTO the dress to put it on, not pull it over your head. Because of the stretchy material, it is very easy to do. All of the Chiara Boni dresses are supposed to be put on this way and I&#39;m surprised RTR doesn&#39;t indicate that somewhere in the description. I hope that this helps anyone who might rent or purchase this beautiful dress in the future. Thank you! 

If you want something simple, modern and elegant, this is your dress! It's comfortable and flattering. I got compliments all evening. It does not have a zipper so you do need to put it on prior to hair and makeup. Built in liner for the chest so didn't have to wear a bra.

This is the most amazing dress!  it was so comfortable (has just the right amount of stretch)  and looked great on.  I am busty (36 DD) and did not need to wear a bra with it.  I received tons of compliments on this dress at the event I attended.

This started as my back up dress. I was glad I hung on to it another couple weeks because I ended up needing it for another event. It has clean lines and looks great. I've worn 3 or 4 dresses from this brand and they all worked for me. I love it!

The length was perfect and the shelf bra was strong enough to hold my 36DD chest. The back of the dress was gorgeous!! The only bad thing was there were small holes on both of the seams of the arms near the end of the sleeves, I was able to cover them up so they weren’t noticeable. 

The dress hit perfect floor length on my 5 foot 2 frame and 3.5 inch heals.   The fabric is heavy and forgiving so it doesn't show bumps or cellulite.   The criss-crossing in the back gives beautiful detail without grabbing back fat.  I was able to wear this dress without a bra due to built in shelf bra and without spanx.   It was very comfortable and flattering.  

Hi! This dress, like all other Chiara Boni dresses is supposed to be stepped INTO to put on, not pulled over your head. Hope this helps anyone who might rent or purchase this dress in the future. Thanks!

The material of this dress is perfection. Thick enough to provide great coverage and support (didn't need a bra) and stretchy enough to provide total comfort. 40R was a great length and fit for me (5'4" 130 lbs and wore 100ml heels). 

Note: There is no zipper and you have to pull the dress in over your head. Something to consider when thinking about hair style and makeup application.

Wore the 38L. I'm 5'8" 145 lbs. fit perfect. Lots of compliments on back of dress. 

The dress was simply amazing and beautiful on! I received many compliments during the gala. This was my first time renting with RTR and I can say I will definitely be renting again from RTR. The only disappointment was the length of the dress. I got a long to have it cover my shoes, but it did not. Other than that the dress was gorgeous!!

Super supportive thick yet comfortable fabric made this dress so easy to wear. I didn't need to wear a bra and was so comfortable all night! You will not be disappointed with this dress!

I'm normally wear a size 8 in dresses.  I'm 5'7 and I weight 170  34DD and both fit amazing but the larger one would gather in the hips area so I went with the smaller size.

Very slimming and elegant. I wear a 2 or 4 normally and the 40L was perfect. 

This was my Morticia Addams dress for Halloween. It's super stretchy and comfortable. It was not long enough to wear with heels, FYI. I am 5'11". You should size down if you want a super fitted look. It was elegant and I loved the feel of it. 

So nervous to rent this gown because I have a little pooch. I trusted the reviews and wore this gown to a black tie wedding. Did not disappoint! Comfortable and gorgeous. I'm only 5 feet tall and the dress was stunning. I felt classy and dressed appropriately for a black tie. Loved it. 

This was the perfect dress to celebrate out 10 year anniversary -- at the top of the contemporary hotel -- watching the Happily Ever After firework show!! So perfect for the special occasion!!

This dress is beautiful! True to size and absolutely stunning. I can't get over how beautiful the silhouette is!

I didn't end up wearing this to the event, but I think it had potential to be really nice. I ordered a size too small and it was REALLY tight and short. I'm pretty tall though, next time if I were to reorder I'd get the long. The back was really pretty though, and the fabric was nice (yet a tad unforgiving). 

Beautiful dress that hugs your curves!  Lined so you don't need undergarments. I sized up as a backup but my original was perfect. Compliments all night. 

Love love love this dress!!! Almost bought it, but won't wear it enough to justify the price. The pictures really don't do it justice. La Petite Robe dresses are the best form fitting dresses out there and they come in Long which I always need! 

I loved that the front was plain and the detail was all in the back. The dress was very warm but that is to be expected with long sleeves. I added the red belt but it was pretty without it too. 

This dress fit well, yet has enough "give" to be extremely comfortable for an all night gala. The back is stunning and I received lots of compliments. I liked that it hid my broad shoulders and made my waist appear more slender. Would rent again!

I found RTR by accident online and it is the best thing ever! The items were quality and one dress fit perfectly and looked amazing! The lace detail was high quality and flowed nicely as I walked. It fit very well and the material was thick and not see through.

The other dress had boning that had been bent and didn't fit properly. I contacted customer service and they helped me find another dress in my size AND shipped for free overnight! It was a perfect fit as well and absolutely beautiful!

LOVE this dress! The fabric feels great and holds you in at the same time. I didn't have to wear spanx or a bra! I got so many compliments the whole evening. The only thing I would have done differently is rented the "long". I'm 5'6 and the "regular" was a little too short with heels.
