Loved this dress! It was very comfortable and the fit was very versatile. I could have gone with either the 38 or 40, but went with the 40 for a little bit of added length. 

I was injured in a car accident in July and was not able to go to Taylor Swift with my 14 year old daughter, so I was determined to wear my sparkly Taylor boots to a wedding this September. I searched high and low for the perfect dress (from home because it's been hard to shop with my injuries), and remembered Rent the Runway. I fell in love with this Derek Lam dress, and while I had a backup style, I was really hoping this one would work out - and it did!!! It was truly the highlight of the last few months, which have been rough. It was the first time I felt feminine and beautiful and hopeful. I know that should all come from within, but when you have a TBI and physical pain, you can use all the boosts you can get. This, and the boots, was a perfect pairing. THE DRESS IS GORGEOUS, and I did not want to send it back. Rent the Runway, when it's run it's course, will you please let me know when I can buy it for a discount? Ha. Many thanks!!! 

Love the fit, sexy but also hides problem areas and the skirt is loose fitting. Love the color and fit. 

I was 17 weeks pregnant with a second child when I wore this dress. I was looking for something that didn't show the bump because it is there, but at that awkward stage. This dress fit amazing! I got a lot of compliments on it!

This was a cute dress and would have been a very comfortable option. But I liked another better for my event so I didn’t wear this. Might rent again for a future event. 

I’m between 8-10, and the 44 was a good fit. 

Remember to have a strapless bra ready to go!

I loved this dress so much that I bought it! I added a sparkly black belt with it. It has just enough pizzazz with the metallic material. Add a red lip, and you’re ready for a great party!

Beautiful material, I only needed to add a belt. I felt comfortable and confident all night. This was my time using Rent the Runway and I will be using it now for all my formal events. It made the nightmare of shopping easy and affordable. 

This dress was so cute and comfy!! I wore it to a gala and to a Friendsgiving party. I loved the one sleeve bc it helped keep me warm and the length was appropriate for a “mature” woman. ;) I wished I could have kept this one forever!!

Super comfortable and beautiful! I got many compliments on it. I feel like the photos don’t do this dress justice. I would rent again. 

I could have gone a size smaller - it fit too but I liked the way this fit through the bust.

Easily worn with a strapless bra. The material is light so it’s very comfortable to wear. Love that it’s a decent length even for taller people. 

Loved the material and it was very easy to wear. Put on a normal strapless bra and some shapewear and there was not a bulge in sight! Wore for a dance event and it was perfect. The dress moves nicely without showing anything inappropriate. I added a black belt for a bit more of a finished look. Loved it, and might have to rent again for new year's!

Wasn't sure the asymmetry would work, but it was gorgeous and I received tons of compliments. The shimmer is definitely metallic, it ups the formal factor, so definitely know that it will look metallic! If it wasn't so memorable I would buy it or wear it again!!

Wore this for my husbands 40th birthday in Vegas (which was a surprise)! It was everything I hoped for, semi sexy, stylish, COMFORTABLE and not too short! Rent this dress you won't regret it! 

Rented this for a special event & it was elegant, yet comfortable--a tough combination to come by!

The fit was true to size.  I'm 5'-8" and it wasn't too short.  Loved the shine without too much sparkle :)  Would highly recommend!

Fit is true to size to large. I found there was extra material on the bottom half especially so it made my hips look slightly bigger. But the dress was so fun overall that this didn't stop me from wearing it. I added a belt bc otherwise the waist was also a bit large.

Great date night dress for the holiday season. I'm 5'3 and it hit a little longer on the leg than I'd like. It would probably work better on a taller person. But the fit was super comfortable and I got compliments from strangers on the street on how good it looked! 

Really comfortable and well made. Just looked a little frumpy surprisingly in photos. I wore it with a black sweater on top as well like a skirt and liked it better that way

I wore my usual size 4 (40 in this brand) and it was perfect. The material and color were gorgeous. 

Got a little wrinkly in my suitcase, but didn't show. Loved the material and was really comfortable. Got lots of compliments!

This dress was so fun! Great for dancing & felt a little like a night out dress but still ok to wear into a Catholic Church. I loved the one sleeve - completely different from my usual style, but so fun!! Would rent again. 

Was really not excited about this dress but was having a hard time finding something for a wedding and I was PLEASANTLY surprised when it arrived. I was able to wear a bra with one strap and no Spanx required! Comfortable for dancing and just short enough on me (5'6") to be flirty but not inappropriate. Highly recommend.
