I wore this dress to a wedding in Mexico and was showered with compliments all evening. The lace detail was gorgeous and I loved the rich rust color. The unique fit made a statement as well. I would rent again!

I rented this to take anniversary pictures with my boyfriend. It did run big, but I opted not to belt it. I was able to pin my bra so it didn't show too much. GREAT movement (we took some spinning pictures) which is mainly why I chose this dress. It ended up matching the sunflower centers perfectly. A little thick material but since it had extra fabric, it wasn't too hot. Probably wouldn't buy but loved it for this occasion!

The fit was perfect. I did pair it with a belt just because I liked the contrast against the dress! Very comfortable and got compliments all night !

I ended up with a size small because the extra small was out of stock. I was worried it might be too large because of some other reader comments, but it was a good size. The neck was a bit tight, the armholes were a bit large, and the waist was a bit large like other renters have said, but it wasn't uncomfortable for me. I wore it without a bra and that was fine. I wore it for about 6 hours for a wedding and was comfortable. One thing I wasn't expecting is that the liner was a bit short, I felt myself checking to make sure the skirt wasn't ridding up through the night. Overall though, comfortable and really cute! lots of compliments. 

I was SWIMMING in this dress and had to add a belt just to gather up the extra material. I got lots of compliments though. Very artsy--wore it for opening night of a play.

Runs big, the neck is a little tight and it cuts in a bit at the boob, so you can't wear a normal bra. 

This was a perfect fall dress! Beautiful in person definitely for anyone that wants a flowy boho feel. I was able to wear a strapless bra. You can add a belt if you would like but I liked tight fit on top and how it hung loose. Many compliments throughout the night! 

I LOVED this dress. I ordered one size down like the other reviewers suggested, but I found it was true to size on me. The XS would've worked, but I went with the S because the neck hole was bigger. I wore it without a bra and even though it was a religious wedding, I didn't feel like I was too exposed. It photographed beautifully from some angles but looked a little unflattering from others due to all the fabric on the bottom. But I also felt like all the fabric balanced me out since I have broad shoulders and a large ribcage. It's a little darker in person than it looks in the pictures and the underlay is orange, not white. My only issue with this dress was the neckline. It was a little itchy and tight at first, but as the night went on I was able to tune it out. Overall a great dress that I got many compliments on!

I wore this to my fall themed baby shower at 33 weeks pregnant. I didn't mind the low armholes, but I also didn't wear a bra, so I wasn't concerned about straps or sides showing. I'm also pretty broad around the chest and ribs (38" pre-pregnancy) so there were no gaps. I was worried this would feel too big since it has draping to accentuate the rear, but by styling with some tall wedges, it really helped me feel more proportional. I had strangers in the street complimenting me on this one. Loved it! 

Wore this to a rustic barn wedding, that ended up being a ridiculous 90 degrees in October. The lace was breathable and not too heavy for the amount of fabric. I got compliments all night long, I would have rented the small - but it was unavailable. The medium was more like a large and definitely hung loosely around my armpit area showing off a bit of my side boob/bra. But I believe it gave more of a loose footing hippy feel, than I'll fitting. #wedding #sideboob #beautyandthebeard

This dress was just as amazing as other reviewers described. It definitely caught the attention of other wedding guests and I got a lot of compliments! It is a nice burnt orange/copper color. I was concerned with looking too much like a pumpkin for this October wedding but it didn't have that vibe. 
The midi length was so classy--I'm 5'11" and it really hit just at the knee for me, but that was fine. The lining under the lace was long enough to be comfortable. The skirt is wayyyy bigger than it appears, so it was so fun to spin in on the dance floor! I was concerned about side boob--I am usually a size 6 and the medium was the only size available for my weekend. I definitely could have sized down to a small because the dress is not very fitted. However, the sides were not overly revealing. I wore an adhesive bra and nothing showed. Highly recommend this for your fall and winter weddings!

This dress was beautiful and I got so many compliments. Based on reviews, I sized down and still had plenty of room. If I didn't have a larger chest, I probably would have wanted to go down two sizes to provide more shape in the waist. This was the only full body picture I got so it unfortunately doesn't show, but the waist is not form fitting, so if you prefer a dress with more shape that is something to consider. I thought about wearing a belt to cinch at the waist, but it is so beautiful on its own I went without. Perfect dress for a fall wedding!

I had gotten the Small and Medium, usually I wear medium, but the small fit a little better without wearing a bra which was good, because like others have said, the holes for the arms are a little big. The only downside, the neck was a little tight at first, but I eventually got used to it, if you are not a fan of things around your neck tightly, I'd stay away, but otherwise the dress is great.  Orange is my favorite color on me and the dress was the perfect color. 

I am between a 10-12! I ordered a large and it fit like a glove! I added the belt so it was more of a fitted look! I rented the earrings too! Love those with the high neck! 

I wanted something uniquely elegant for a late summer wedding, and this dress fit the bill! I felt beautiful in the copper color with the high lace neckline, and loved how it flared on the dance floor. It was little larger than I anticipated and being the RTR n00b that I am, I didn't rent a second size. I ended up belting it around the waist, which accentuated my curves and helped the fit. I loved this dress and would definitely rent it again!

This definitely runs large. Whatever your size is, order one down and then another one down for your back-up. They didn't have a size down and so I went with the 4/6 anyway. Belt was a necessity because of both the oversizing and the cut of the dress. I also pinned both sides under the armpits a little bit. The armpits also run longer than I would have liked. Still, I got lots of compliments on the look. I would recommend it - just order size down!

As others have said, very wide armholes, so tape or the like is really your only bet. I didn't wear a bra at all, but the top is snug enough so that my ladies were not entirely loose and I was comfortable all evening. I am not feeling great about my belly area at the moment, so it was nice to have it loose at the bottom - I didn't even wear spanx. Fun to dance in!

Wore this for family pictures and to church. Love the orange color and lace touches. Great fit but looked better belted with a belt I already owned. Very hippie chic 

The lace detail was gorgeous, color was a beautiful rust. The cut was a little low on the side of the chest, but stayed in place all night. Loved and would rent again 

I wore this dress to an outside graduation. It was great for the weather. I ordered a M and L. The medium worked out. It was a great feel: light weight and airy. The color was gorgeous and the flow made it even better. 

This dress actually looks much better in pictures than in person (in my opinion). It is cut close to the armpits and as I have a large bust, I didn't have a bra to wear that would not show (I chose one as close to skin color as possible, but it was still visible). I got TONS of compliments on the pictures I posted on social media, but not as many compliments in person. It was a fun, flirty dress. 

I'm early in my pregnancy and don't look pregnant yet, but don't fit well into my regular size. This was the perfect dress for the in-between stage. You can size down, but I found that the neckline felt too tight when I did that, so I was happy with my regular size. Because it's such a wide flowy skirt, it is very forgiving. Make sure you have a nice, nude strapless bra because anything else will show. 

I loved this Free People dress! It was very comfortable and flattering.. I paired it with a denim jacket and minimal jewlery to keep it casual. I do agree, it runs larger in size.. so I opt for the XS. 

Color is less copper in person. Definitely go the size smaller. Looks and moves lovely. A bit tight at the neck. 

This was an out-of-the-box pick for me, but it was so worth it. The dress is very comfortable (I didn't belt it, but it would easily be even more stylish with one) and easy to wear. I wore a strapless bra with no problem. The color and lace are striking without being overwhelming. 

This was my backup dress and I absolutely loved it!  The color was so vibrant, the lace beautiful, and the style was so flattering.  The length was perfect for me at 5' 7" with heels that were a few inches tall.  Like previous reviews stated, it does run a tad large.  I typically wear a Medium or Size 8 and was able to comfortably wear a size Small.  It is a bit roomy in the waist, so I belted it with a brown ribbon to really cinch the waste.  It looked great with or without, but I wanted it more form fitting for the evening.  The side does cut a bit low, but I was able to wear a strapless bra and it did not show.  This is one I would definitely rent again and would love to own!  If you rent this dress, do yourself a favor when dancing and twirl the night away!  

Rented this for a formal fall wedding. The dress was super comfy and the accessory options are endless. I went back and forth on wearing a belt with it as others have suggested, but in the end felt it looked fine without. I usually would wear a M but wore the S in this. Lots of compliments!

This dress was really fun to wear in a great shade of burnt orange. I loved that the skirt was full but the top form fitting. The lace was feminine and boho but still youthful, sophisticated and appropriate for this event. The dress ran large so I wore a medium without a bra it fit perfectly (the large fit with a bra but was too loose around the waist and ribcage ). Wish I had a black leather jacket to wear with it but  a black Gail eres suit jacket worked well and I liked it with strappy black heels. 

The XS was a perfect fit for me.  The neck was a little tight, but not enough to make me not wear the dress.  I paired it with a grey belt and shoes and received tons of compliments!  Perfect dress for a Fall wedding!

The dress was very comfortable. The color was beautiful, especially for a fall event. The sizing was true to my bodice. I tend to be a 6 on top and an 8 across my bottom. This dress truly accommodates that kind of figure. It is not cut to cling. There was plenty of bodice room. As other reviews have noted the top and armhole area are cut in. I did need to wear an appropriate bra color because it does peek out. I am sure, if I were 20 years younger, a strapless bra would have been best. I enjoyed wearing this dress! The dress did arrive a day late. RTR staff acknowledged my concern kindly and efficiently. Thank you 

I loved the color of the dress and how perfect it was for a Fall wedding. It's more of a burnt orange than a copper, per say, but it got plenty of compliments (especially in pictures from the event). This dress also TWIRLED; dancing at the reception was so much fun with this number! I'm also glad I got the Medium rather than the Large, following advice from other reviews (I'm normally a dress size 10).

However, as others have mentioned, the fit is a little complicated. The neckline was very high, and the arm holes are very large and low. Since I'm a little bigger on the top, I wore a strapless bra, but I had to wear a sweater or remember to keep my arms down so it wouldn't show on the sides. I found myself trying to adjust where the dress fell on me all night, and I learned that I don't prefer a high neckline, as it was a little restricting for me, personally. Although it photographed well, I feel like the fit wasn't as ideal as other dresses I've rented. Overall, I liked it, but I didn't love it.

Waist was loose but didn't look bad to me.  I felt very well put together and ready to dance all night in this dress at the wedding I wore it to.  I did grow tired of the restricting neck as I knew I would but it looked so good that I stuck it out much longer than I thought I would!

This dress got tons of compliments!! It runs large and I would recommend to get a smaller size. It was perfect for my 30 week bump.  It was such a great fall color!

I ordered this dress to wear to an evening  show in Pittsburgh PA. The weather was warm so the dress was a great weight. I ordered a large and it ran a bit too big. I had to belt in the waist and I had to wear a wee jacket to cover my arms. The arm holes are ridiculously open and low. Too much exposure. I received many complements while wearing this dress. My advise - Size Down and Twirl Around!  

The dress had an odd smell so I had to air it out for several days.  The arm holes were large and showed more than I liked but overall for a wine country wedding on a working farm in the fall it was perfect!!! The lace was country but still sophisticated and the color was rich.  All the ladies in the wedding party wore cowboy boots and this dress was perfect for that too.  

This is a great dress for dancing and sitting at a formal event without having to worry about preserving your modesty (especially after a few drinks!). It's comfortable and chic, and as many other reviews noted, it runs quite large. I'm a 34A, 5'6", 125 pounds with a pear-shaped figure and found that the XS fit just a tad large. If you're petite, I imagine this dress might run too big for you! It was perfect for the occasion and was a great first RTR rental.
