Beautiful dress!  Thick, quality material that is structured throughout the waistline area.  This dress was sent to me as a backup since my original order arrived incorrect.  I was a little apprehensive but the dress surpassed my expectations.  It is perfect for a fall wedding and the purple material photographs beautifully.  

I usually wear between a 4 and a 6 and needed to go with the 6 for this because of the bust. Love the little front pockets.  Super comfortable and would be appropriate for either a super formal party or a more causal work gathering. 

The dress is fits true to size, but is definitely snug through the bust area.  You will need help to zip!! 

Apologies, I didn't take a lot of photos at this wedding.  But, you can kind of see the dress here.  I'm pretty short, and this dress runs longer than I would have liked.  I wanted it above the knee, and it clearly went lower than my knee, kind of making me look shorter.  I ordered a 12 and got the 14, too.  I'm pretty sure I wore the 14 because it gave me more room up top for the ladies.  the fabric is kind of weird; it's like... a spacesuit.  But, I was comfortable!

This dress is one of my favorites!  The deep purple looks great on camera.  The cut is slimming and flattering.  

So listen to my words. The hem has a thick piece of material to help keep the form of the A-line. When you get the box and try it on - it will look wonky. DO NOT PANIC. I used my daughter's Chi and flat ironed it - BAM. The dress is a wee bit snug in the chest and I am, well, only endowed when I wear my Victoria Secret pieces (and I refuse to NOT wear them). So keep that in mind. Loved the dress. 

Purple stands out in a good way.  The mid section flattens your pooch if you have one.  I am 5'3 and heels are necessary to avoid looking short!

This dress fit perfectly and was comfortable for dancing all night. 

The color photographs a little blue, but it's much more purple in person. The fit would be very flattering on any body type. And it has pockets! Would definitely rent this one again. 

The dress fit well there were spots inside the lining that irritated my skin. The black trim around the bottom didn't lay flat and puckered out. It was almost like the dress has been worn too many times. It wasn't noticeable to other people , but it was noticeable to me. Both sizes had this problem. I think they need to inspect dresses better before sending out.

This definitely fits large.  I am a true 8 and ended up wearing a 6.  It was a nice dress but nothing extraordinary.  For some reason, I was expecting the bottom black "spots" to be beaded and they are not.  It is a flattering dress though.

I wore this for Christmas Eve mass and dinner.  I'm 5.10, 145-150, 34-A.  Ended up wearing the size 4.  Comfortable dress.  The bottom hem was wonky and stretched out, but looked much improved after ironing.  The boning did poke a bit on the waist, but I probably wouldn't have noticed if I'd worn a slip.  Overall a good dress beautiful purple color and loved the black velvet on the sleeves and skirt.  

I'm a 34DD. I don't usually wear high necklines because of my bust. It was a nice surprise to wear a fitted dress on the rest of my body that still zipped up nicely over my bust. The pockets are awkward but they blend in well so you don't even notice them. Something was itchy underneath the dress, around the area where the pockets were sewn in. If I wore it again I would wear a slip or spanx just so it didn't irritate my skin. Easy fix for a GREAT dress!

Pretty dress but runs tight/no give through ribs and bust (I have a large rib cage).  The hem was also very thick and hung sort of jagged.  It was as if it had been shortened and the hemline was too thick.  I ended up not wearing it.

Size 4 fit just right. Was hoping for a little more structure around the mid-section (didn't come in as close as the model - I'm sure that's my body, not the dress's fault!), but then again, I wore tights and didn't see any lines, so perhaps the fit was right on point. Loved the pockets and that I could wear a regular bra.  Overall great dress! 

This rental was my first and probably my favorite RTR rental. I wore it to my husband's 30 year law school reunion and 2 weeks later to his firm's formal dinner. The detailing of this Halston Heritage dress separates it from other dresses and gets attention. The black embroidered detail on a heavier fabric demonstrates its quality. (This dress is also available in cream with black embroidery.) The shoulders are padded just slightly to provide a better balance with hips / flare of the skirt. Loved it!

I wore this for my wedding rehearsal and I loved it and got a ton of compliments. I'm used to wearing a 12, maybe a 10 if I'm lucky on the fit and with this dress I wore a 10 and felt fabulous in it! 

I loved the color of this dress. It did run large - I wore the 12 instead of the 14 I expected to wear. The top was more fitted, which suited my shape. It was a bit plain without jewelry and could have been dressed up or down. I found it a bit too long on my 5'6" frame - it came to that awkward place just at the knee. All in all, a nice dress in a great color. 

Usually an 8 - went with the 6 and it fit like it was tailored to my body.  Usually a little self conscious of my butt and hips but this dress was cut perfectly - no need for spanks or an special under garments.  Needed to keep the evening within budget and had the shoes in the closet even though I think the look of a black thin strappy shoe looks the best with this dress.  Color was great and so nice to stand out from all the black in the room.

It fit beautifully- a classic A Line. Also it was very comfortable so I didn't have to worry about wanting to head home early.
