Loved this dress.  Very comfortable and flattering, great for accentuating curves and small waist.    I would totally wear again.  I felt put together and feminine, but still very cute and comfortable. It was also easy to dance in which is a requirement for me.   There was an issue with one strap, it was twisted and sewn on that way.  I had to pin it.  

A little baggy in the front..consider a size down if you are below a D cup.  Perfect length.  Comfortable on a hot night.  Easy to dance in, I didn't have to readjust my straps constantly.  Loved it!

This was a great dress for a ball I attended, received compliments all night long! I rented a S and XS and ended up wearing the S. The waist has little to no give but was comfortable to sit in. 

Fit at the top near the zipper is tight but the top of the dress is so pretty with the black lace!

I'm petite (5' 2") with a large bust and I was able to wear this with a strapless bra without any issues. The medium size was more modest but the small fit better for a party. Would highly recommend!

Loved this dress so much and got so many compliments! Wish I was able to buy it! I am 5'4" and wore a medium, it was the perfect length. The adjustable straps were very convenient, although I kept having to tighten them. Not a huge deal though! The zipper was pretty difficult to get all the way zipped up but I managed to make it happen. Overall, I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat. 

This is the best little black dress! Fits like a charm and the pockets and back opening make it so special!

This dress was incredibly comfortable and allowed for wearing a normal bra (always a plus!). It also had pockets big enough for my keys and my phone, which were a HUGE plus. Highly recommend and was very sad to see it go.

True to size. small was big on the chest for me. Little trouble with the zipper but with force, it was fixed.

So sexy. If you have a wider waist like me definitely size up as their is no give in the waist. 

This is a really fun and cute dress! It works really well if you're petite because the straps are adjustable! I would recommend!


I rented this dress to wear at a bachelorette party in Charleston. The dress was SO comfortable and flattering. I usually wear a size 4 and I rented both the small and extra small. I ended up wearing the extra small because it fit better in the waist. I loved that I could wear a regular strapless bra with this dress even though it had a cut out back.

This was my favorite rental from RTR thus far! I ordered both the x-small and the small and ended up wearing the x-small. Even at 4 months pregnant, it fit like a glove. There was plenty of room for my belly, yet it was tight enough in all the right places. AMAZING dress! 

Fit well with a strapless bra. Pretty lace details make this more than just a LBD. Appropriate length for petite girls. 

Rented this for my friends great Gatsby themed bridal shower. Through a sting of long pedal on and it was perfect. Received so many complements and would 100%rent this again!

I don't have a well-defined waist so the Medium was a little too snug where the zipper is in the back. The Large fit very well. The open low back is cute and the dress has pockets! I wore a strapless bra and it did not show. I have a smaller bust but since the dress had adjustable straps, the large fit fine on top. It was a great choice! 

Great dress for a bachelorette party! Comfortable to wear all night, through dinner and dancing. I dressed it up with heels and changed into flats later on and both worked well with the dress. If you're looking for a step above the standard LBD, go with this. The lace detail is so pretty!

Loved the fit of this dress, it was extremely flattering in the waist and true to size. The adjustable straps were awesome. The cutout was a fun detail but felt a little awkward. The material for the back panel was kind of casual and loose-fitting, which is very different from the skirt (more formed fitting). Overall a beautiful dress, I felt great in it all night long! Super easy to wear with a strapless bra and definitely easy to dress up or down.

I rented a small and medium, but I wish I had grabbed an extra small. I'm always a 4 so I thought it'd work. Either way, the dress was really fun and cute. Got a lot of compliments. However, I wouldn't recommend it to girls with small waists and big hips/butts because I didn't feel very flattered by it.

Ended up using a bra for extra support but you could go either way. The straps stayed in place all night. 

I wore this to a Gatsby theme party and it was perfect! So comfortable and elegant! Would definitely rent again. 

Dress was very comfortable. The pockets are the best part. Got lots of compliments. Strapless bra is a must because the top portion is stretchy material. Would recommend for a fuller bust. 

The dress was nice, but felt a little large on top. I'm typically a 6/8, and may have been able to still size down comfortably. 

Such an easy dress to dress down or up. The dress had pockets! The straps are adjustable and I didn't have to wear a bra. I felt secure not wearing one. The hip area is loose and comfy. The length hit me a bit above my knee, I liked it. I wore this to a wedding in Long Island and it did not make me feel hot. After the wedding I took off my fancy jewelry, put on some flats and it was perfect casual dress for the rest of the night in NYC. I felt good in it and would rent again.

This dress fit true to size for me. Very comfortable, flirty length but not too short for tall people. The back is fun and easy, especially since I could wear a regular strapless bra!

I wore this for my bachelorette party; it was a nice material and good for warm weather. The straps are thin, and adjustable which allows you to adjust how low the neckline is.

I got this dress as a back up when the one i really wanted was returned damaged. It wasn't exactly what i was going for (a LBD to go dancing in) but i was still able to wear it during my vacation for a day of shopping and lunching. I did love the lace, the neckline and the unique back. Also, very comfy! In this pic my friend is wearing my other rental by MSGM (under the purple palm) that i couldn't quite zip in the back, but another super fun vacay dress!

This dress was beautiful, fun, and feminine. Love it so much I'm considering buying it. It fits very snug in the waist so would recommend sizing up if you aren't sure. LOVE!!!!

I have rented this dress twice now and love it. The first was for a cocktail party type function and the other for a wedding. I love the feminine lace details at the top and I feel like it is a flattering shape as it flowy on the bottom and more fitted on top. 

The dress fits fine; I usually wear a size 4 and rented a medium and a small, wore the small. It has one downside: the band in the back is unflatteringly wide, and cheap looking. But it's only the back! I could have pinned it under to make it thinner, but it wasn't a huge deal. The openness of the back hit at a perfect spot, the flowery lace is beautiful, and it's just the right length for my legs.

The bodice of the dress was a little snug - definitely no give in the fabric, so I'm grateful I ordered a size up as my backup option. Once zipped, the dress was very flattering and the black lace made it easier to dress up or dress down. Would recommend this dress for many different occasions.

This dress was great! I'm glad I had the opportunity to wear it. I'm not into wearing heels (as you can see I'm wearing converse) and that was a great look. I do have a bigger busy and while I was dancing one of the straps broke so I would want to be aware of that. But other than that it was fantastic and easy to have fun in! 

This dress was perfect for my sorority formal. I ordered the large and it fit great. The chest was a bit large for me, but straps are adjustable so that made it fit better. The back was less revealing than I was expecting as the back panel is very wide, but it was very classy. The lace details on the neckline/hemline are beautiful and it has pockets!! Overall, great first dress for me to rent from Rent the Runway!

Felt great in this dress! Ordered the M and L and both fit but I wore the bigger size to give me more room to dance. Looks great on, and has elastic in the top to accommodate a larger chest. Perfect for dancing and having fun without having to worry about any wardrobe issues. Wore it without a bra because the strapless bra looked weird in the back, but I had no issues since the fit was good on the top!
