Gorgeous and elegant! Loved the sheer top with the rainbow underneath. Got a ton of compliments!

The dress fit perfectly. I wore it with tights since this event was on a cold evening. The rainbow doesn't show through as much as I had hoped, but it's still very cute. 

the waist is super tight and does not stretch at all.  For a size 6 you need to have a waist of about 28 inches to be comfortable.

Not the best photo but it was a FABULOUS dress. The fit was perfect and the shape was extremely flattering making my waistline look tiny. I received a lot of compliments! The detail of the dress doesn't show up well in the photo, but I loved the splash of color. It was also very comfortable! I'm about 5'7" and this dress hit me a few inches above the knee, which was awesome because I didn't want anything super short. The leather detail around the arms and neck did get a tiny bit hot once we were dancing but that's to be expected. I wore this for a bachelorette party and loved that I had something that was different than your average "little black dress." 

Everyone loved the rainbow underlay. It very subtle and beautiful. Fit was great. However, the zipper is so tricky (it takes a lot to get it past the "belt" area) that I was worried I wouldn't be able to wear it. Overall great RTR experience and I will definitely rent again!

This was a great alternative to a plain LBD, perfect for a fall wedding! The leather trim was not very forgiving so it felt a little tight at times. The bottom part of the dress is stretchy, so it makes it a little more fitted. I would rent again!

I wore this dress to my friends' bachelorette party.  I loved how the dress looked on me.   The fit was a bit difficult.  I had a baby 2 months prior and I am still working on getting back to my original figure.  My normal size is a 4, but I still have a little mid-section fluff going on.  It took my mom 15 minutes to get this dress zipped.  My husband couldn't do it at all!  The problem is that the middle section, where the material changes is much tighter than the rest of the dress.  there is little to no wiggle room.  The bottom fit wonderfully because the material was stretchy.  The top actually had extra space and I am a size D bra.  The waist was pretty tight on me all night long, but I managed to wear it without any major problems,  If you have some middle fluff it's a tough fit.

That being said, I really loved the look of the dress.  Very cute, with subtle coloring up top!

Loved this dress!! Very comfortable all night and no risk of the slit exposing anything when you sit since it's actually stitched. Paired it with plain black pumps and didn't worry about jewelry. 

Two "complaints" about the dress, however.... 1) Like other renters have said, the zipper was REALLY tough to get up. I ended up spinning it around backwards so the zipper was in front to work it over the leather part since even my husband couldn't get it to zip when I had it on normally. 2) Not obvious, but there was significant wear to the leather on the underarms. Didn't affect my ability to wear the dress, but I was disappointed after the great quality I've gotten from RTR in the past.

Wore to a rehearsal dinner! Loved the pop of color - added a twist to the LBD. 

I was very satisfied with this dress. The fit was very close to an actual 4, and left a tiny bit of room (which was appreciated after dinner). The fabric was very unique, and I had no problem with the zipper as some other renters have mentioned. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone!

The dress was nice, not my favorite, but not bad. The top has some funky colors, which is nice, but the dress really hugs. It showed more of my unpleasant curves than I would have wanted, but it was still fun for the occasion.

So, I was originally supposed to get a different dress for the wedding I was attending. HOWEVER, that dress was not returned in time/damaged. RTR allowed me to pick another dress and they overnighted this one to me. I liked this dress, but the zipper was EXTREMELY hard to zip over the leather part. The skirt also has a weird bias cut down the front, which wasn't my favorite. All in all, it's a cute dress - but be prepared to struggle zipping it.

I wore the 6 instead of the 4 only because the zipper on the 4 was a little ripped.  The 6 fit perfectly fine too, but the top was a little big. The top is a thicker non-stretchy material and the bottom is a thinner VERY stretchy material.  There is no hiding anything with this dress in the midsection but overall was perfect for the wedding I went to and recommend it for something comfortable!

The dress is comfortable and fits perfect. The zipper is a little tough around the waistline, but no problems.

The color of this dress was great and it was very comfortable. Definitely unique and different.

I wore this to a cocktail reception and then out for drinks afterward. Very comfortable all evening long. The fabric on bottom is form-fitting and thinner than on top, but still thick enough to be flattering. Length is a bit above the knee, so fun but not revealing.  While they don't show much in the photo, the colors really stand out in person. Definitely not your typical LBD. Be warned about the zipper though. The size 6 that I wore was not too tight at all, but the zipper was getting caught on the leather band on the mid-section. I had to have my boyfriend zip me up. Highly recommend this dress and would rent again; just be sure you have someone to zip you up!

Sometimes I'm a size 6, but the 4 fit really well. It was a little large in the top, but I'm small-chested so I just wore a bra with some extra padding and that helped. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5. Other than it fit well and was comfortable to wear. Good length, too-since I'm tall it's easy for dresses to look way short on me, and this one was perfect just above the knee. 

I wore the size 4, which Im pretty much always a size 4 in dresses. Im large chested (32ddd) so it was nice to have a silhouette still without showing everything. And being 5'9 it was seriously the perfect length for a gala/wedding. The skirt part of the dress is thinner but I liked that it was clingy, it made it sexier while staying classy. I also think the colors in real life is prettier than in photos. (And you may need help with the zipper its a beast!)  

The black part of the dress is stretchy and on me it did tend to ride up but I am tall so it wouldn't have been as annoying if it was a little longer to begin with.  Other reviewers mention that black material seemed cheap which I agree with but didn't think that it was very noticeable because it's black.  The top is very pretty and overall I liked the look at lot.

The downside is the zipper -- it takes some work to get it over the leather band in the back, regardless of fit. The 8 gave me more tummy forgiveness room than the 6. 

I actually wasn't sure if I was going to like this dress and was a little nervous about it. I rented it for a charity auction dinner and needed something  somewhat conservative yet classy and stylish. I took the chance on this dress and I'm glad I did - it was actually one of the most comfortable dresses I've worn, and it was quite flattering. I had read in other reviews that the skirt was stretchier than expected, so I was not surprised to find that the bottom was not totally structured. I suppose spanx or body shapers would make this more comfortable for some, but it was also thick enough material that I didn't have a problem with it making me look lumpy or bumpy. The top has no give, so keep that in mind. I am not large chested and I had plenty of room up there - in fact I think I could have ordered this dress in a 4 and been comfortable. I think it is somewhere between running true to size and running a bit large. The zipper was difficult to get past the leather band at the waist but that was no big deal. The colors in the top are actually very pretty and they pop in person, but I tried taking photos in various lighting, and was unable to get a photo where they really showed up. I think this dress looks better in person than it photographs for that reason. Love this dress and would wear it again!

This dress fit perfectly. I received lots of comments. Some said it looked like the dress was made for me. This was nice to hear since I am an athletic build and need to go up a size in dresses for my shoulders which usually means dresses are too large in the hips. Full coverage up top with the higher neckline, but still short enough to be sexy (and sophisticated). For reference, I'm 5'7" around 140 with an athletic body type. I usually wear size 4 pants, size 6 dress. 

Very flattering. Only con leather on the zipper was very difficult to zip! Thankfully it worked!


I absolutely loved this dress. The pop of bright color on top makes it a unique LBF. It fit snug, but had a thicker material that was very flattering. I would not recommend for big chests as it was tight up top. Highly recommend for a wedding or night out!

This dress fit funny... it was a bit loose on the top compared to the bottom which is unusual for me given that I'm a little busty.  The biggest complaint I have is that the zipper had come unstitched right around the leather waistband on BOTH of the dresses I was sent, so I had to use a safety pin to hold it shut so my back wasn't showing in a gap around the zipper.

This dress fit great, the bottom has stretch to it and the leather waist wasn't tight at all, the zipper stuck a lot though so I needed to be very careful!

Con- The skirt was a little stretched out for my liking, not a part of the actual dress, but just because it was worn  quite a bit. 
The zipper is pretty hard to get up over the leather seam, takes some tugging and pulling. 

Pros- Dress fit like glove. The color came through the bodice on the black dress really well. 

The dress fit true to size, like other reviewers the zipper would stick at the waist where the leather band joined the top and bottom of the dress, definitely a two person operation getting zipped up. Other than that, it was beautiful and comfortable! Wore it to a New Years Eve bash and although it isn't your typical NYE dress, the right accessories made it work. I recommend wearing spanx, the skirt part is fitted and hugs in all the right places, spanx just helps smooth and lift everything. 

I loved this dress! It's a little hard to zip over the leather waistband but other than that it was comfortable, flattering and I received a ton of compliments.

The length is great... I'm 5'7'' and it was just right! The bottom part of the dress is very fitted... I definitely had to wear spanx. My only complaint is the zipper... It hits right on the butt and kind of pokes out. Other than that, I felt great and danced the night away! 

Wore this to a fashion show - got a lot of compliments on it, but I wasn't super comfortable in it. I don't like tighter fitting dresses, and this was just a little close to the body for my taste. I also had a REALLY hard time getting it on - it took 3 of us to get me zipped up! The waistband is a different material than the rest of the dress, and the zipper kept getting caught. Very frustrating. Overall, it was an okay dress, but definitely my least favorite I've ever rented.

The dress was super comfortable.  It was the perfect length!  Only one issue-However, the zipper was difficult (in the belt area-diff material) and was a 2 person job! 

I did not experience the tightness in the bust area that some others described. It probably depends on the size of your chest!  If anything the top was a bit loose on my 34B frame.  The skirt was stretchy which I did not expect, but made it very comfortable.  Overall I really enjoyed wearing this dress!

The dress fit to a T, it was comfortable and I received a lot of compliments.  I loved the colors.

Fit good , nice fabrics the only thing it's the zipper in the back that was hard to use! 

Great dress, the 4 that was sent to me had a couple of places in it with the seams coming apart. Called customer service and they took care of it! Awesome customer care by RTR! Will be renting again for all my special occasions.
