Nice heavy material, has very convenient pockets (perfect for my phone and lipgloss). Wore to a breast cancer function and received tons of compliments on it! 

Super cute dress, but it's SHORT! I'm 5'7 and wore a size 2 and had to be pretty careful how I sat all night. 

This dress runs small for its size. I had to wear the 2 instead of my usual 0. It's comfortable, easy to wear and I loved the ombré of black to pink. Great for a wedding! 

I usually am between a 0 and 2 but after reading the reviews I opted for the 2. Glad I did! Form fitting in a size up still! Material was thicker and on the stiff side but very soft and silky. This dress was not the easiest to steam and was a bit wrinkled when I received it. The dress was also starting to show signs wear at the seams. Overall a good experience. 

Read the other reviews that the dress runs small, but unfortunately I could not order up a size as it was not available so I took a risk and ordered my usual size 6. It fit but I felt pretty squeezed in the dress as the fabric does not stretch at all! Also, I have long legs so I felt it was a bit too short so the 8 may have been better. Other than that, the dress was amazing and I got compliments on it all night.

The fit was great. I am 5'6 and 112 lbs. I don't have a very big bust, but it fit nicely (tight, but not too tight) around the chest and rib area. The length was perfect; Not too short and not too long. The material was great and wearable all night. I would wear this dress again! It was great. 

I loved this dress!!! How fun! I wore it to my husband's company Christmas party and it was prefect! Even though I said the dress was true to size (I usually wear a 0 or 2), I would like to add that the bust was a little small.  This was ok for me because I have a small bust anyway, but if you have a larger bust, you may want to size up.  It was very comfortable and easy to wear because no special bra was needed.  The only thing was that the slip hung a little too low past the hem of the dress, which was easily fixed by a couple of small safety pins.

Dress fit a little snug around my rib cage. I thought I'd wear the 0 but the size 2 for best. I doubt I would have been able to zip up the 0. Thankfully I wasn't dancing or anything otherwise breathing would have been difficult. Overall, I loved the dress!! 

I really loved this dress but it was more fitted than I anticipated. If you're and hour glass or have a bigger chest, I would recommend that you size-up. It was so tight on my chest that I couldn't wear a bra. Otherwise, it was gorgeous!

I rented this to go to a concert.  I thought it might look kind of rocker. I wore a leather moto jacket over it to dress it down.  The material is pleather and not forgiving at all.  As a result the top was tight on my bust and the girls were packed in tight!  No need for a bra at all.  The skirt hit mid-thigh on me.  While the color and pattern of the color was pretty and unique, the dress was just ok.  Nothing I'd rent again. 

Both sizes fit me, but the size 0 was a little too tight in the bust area and I preferred to have a little more breathing room.  I am a little under 5'3 and pretty petite, so this dress was perfect as it was not too long and was super comfortable.  I loved the pockets too!  

Runs true to size- I have a bigger butt, so sometimes the dress would ride up a little bit, but it fit perfectly otherwise. You can wear a normal bra with it. There are pockets, but they are fairly shallow so don't depend on them to hold your phone and cards for the night. Also- remember that the zipper up the back is visible and silver (so plan for silver jewelry - which looks stunning on the black fabric of the dress)

I wear between a size 0 and 2, depending on the fit of the dress. The size 2 gave me a little more breathing room. Rented this for my friends wedding rehearsal/dinner and loved it!

I liked this dress overall but the one I got had seen better days.  I went with the larger size because the lining on the size 2 was longer than the hem of the dress. 

This dress was tight around the waist and ribs. I'm small chested so when I read the other reviews that mentioned a tight fit in the chest I wasn't worried. But they were right, it runs small on the top. The black liner hangs a little below the dress. Not a problem though. And it is short so beware if that's a deal breaker. But this dress was still a hit! 

It fits true to size... except the chest is a little on the tight side, and the arm holes are small. It fits exactly how other Milly dresses of the same silhouette fit. So if you've worn Milly shift dresses before, you should be safe if you know your size!

I LOVED this dress! I wore it to an evening wedding at a brewery, and it was perfect. It is definitely tight in the bust (which doesn't matter for me) but bustier girls may have a problem. It was short on me, which I loved because dresses are usually too long. Loved the fabric, loved the pockets, loved the pink, loved everything! I was sad to return it. 

The fabric has a shiny look that makes it very formal despite the length and edgy design. Plan to steam the dress before wear!

This dress is so pretty! Very flattering. I wore it to my husband's high-school reunion. I felt great in it, and received compliments all evening. It does run a little small and is short. I usually wear a 6, sometimes a 4. The size 6 was too short for my long torso, and a little tight through the ribs. The 8 fit well, but the lining is worn, and it hung below the hem of the dress. 

Beautiful material but I wore it during 95 degree weather and the "pleather" like black material got hot!  Luckily I was not outside for too long, as it was sticking to me and made me feel like I was in a microwave.  Gorgeous colors, runs a little small so size up.  The 2 fit me, but I went with the 4 for the length as it was a professional dinner.  Pair it with a statement necklace and gorgeous stilettos! 

I really loved this dress. It was sent as a back up when the original dress i ordered was too tight. The dress is very tight in the chest so size up if you are large breasted! I did love it though!

Sexy but not slutty... high neckline makes it appropriate for any wedding, day or evening event, but the pop of hot pink and the short length is sassy and great to show off your legs. The  fit was a definitely tight/small in the chest. I normally wear a size 6, but went with the 8 because of the chest. The waist was perfect... it shows off a (my) smaller waist or rib-cage yet totally hides the belly pooch. It is VERY flattering especially for us pear shaped girls!  (and Perfect for hiding mamma's after-baby belly).  Also i have to just say "Pockets RULE!" I love them on any dress!!

The hem was out on this dress when I received it, so unfortunately I had to do a quick fix since I had no other options for the evening.  Otherwise, the material was really amazing and I got a TON of comments from others on how much they loved the dress on me.  I thought it was a bit short on me, but I rocked it anyway!

I received many compliments! I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner in VT, and it was really perfect. The slip was slightly longer than the dress, however it worked out well, I just tucked it under. I usually wear a 0 or 00 and it was definitely a little tight, I would recommend ordering two sizes just incase!

I ordered a 2 and a 4. I opted to wear the 4 due to the chest area on the 2 being a little snug. It was snug in the armpit area actually. I think I would have been annoyed by it all evening.  I am a 34C. The 4 felt a little big- but it still looked great. Lots of compliments. VERY comfortable. High quality fabric. This was my first RTR experience and I am 100% a fan. Will definitely rent again. I also rented the necklace that was in the photo of the dress- loved it too! 

The 0 was too tight in the chest, the 2 fit perfectly in all areas including length. Wore Kate Spade necklace from RTR and added just amount of additional  color.  Fabric was not what I expected. Heavier than it looks, almost like a heavy taffeta which made it look dressier. Very comfortable dress and I would highly recommend! Oh, and it has pockets!!!

The only con i have is that..above the waist area it was very tight. And this dress is not strechable at all. I normally wear size 0 and this one i had a size 2..it was still a little tight there. 

I rented this dress from the Chicago store location for a casual-ish date night and theater outing. This dress is so comfy (even has little pockets) but has a nice structure to it with a beautiful silhouette. I had to size up to a 6 to make room in the chest of this dress but it was a perfect fit!

This dress was fabulous.  The colors were bright but not too loud and paired very well with fun accessories.  Definitely try to pair this with pink heals for a pop.  I noticed in some pictures that the slip was "slipping out" especially if you wear the size 4 or below.  I noticed this while wearing it too, which become a little annoying at times but for the most part was not a problem at all.  The fit was true to size.  The bust is definitely tight such that you probably will not need a bra.  The pockets were an added bonus and definitely did not add too much girth to the waist line (as pockets sometimes do).  I would highly recommend this dress!

This dress felt a little tight on me. I would suggest going a size up if you have a bigger chest!

I wore this dress for a work fundraiser. The theme was a little edgier than I typically dress, but this dress saved me! I had a fabulous time dancing the night away and got lots of compliments. The size 2 was a perfect fit from length, bust, waist, everything. But I was glad I read the other comments and knew to pick the size up. My one complaint is the dress smelled a little funny when I got it - almost like vinegar. This was my first rental so I don't know if that's common. But I would still use Rent the Runway again in a heartbeat. A great experience!

The dress was actually the backup in case the other one I rented didn't fit. I'm glad this worked out! It was a bit tight in the bust, but was still extremely comfortable. The pink at the bottom really pops and the black is extremely slimming. I would absolutely rent this dress again and again.

I loved this dress, and it had pockets which is always a win.  It was pretty tight in the chest, so if you're big chested this might not be the dress for you.  

This dress was great but it runs really small. I ordered a size 0 and 2 and neither fit me. They didn't have a size 4 so I took the 6 and it fit me fine. The 4 might have been a bit better but may have been too short. The 6 was short but it didn't feel inappropriate.  I loved the pockets.  I did have to pin up the liner because it showed around the bottom hem. 

Loved this dress! I received so many compliments at a wedding. It was very comfortable, nice thick material, and such a cute pattern. The pockets were nice, but not very functional, as they were not very deep. I highly recommend this dress!

This fits really well and is really very flattering.  I got many compliments and I think got about 10 people to try Rent the Runway off this dress alone!
