Wore it to a wedding, fit great and was very comfortable. 

This dress worked great for my grandfather's birthday. It fits well and is very comfortable. Nothing super special about it, but if you're looking for a comfortable black dress look no further.

The fit was perfect. I wore an adhesive bra since the lace was see through in the back. I loved the fit in the bodice and the flare of the skirt. The lace was a beautiful detail. I'm 5'3, 140lbs. I typically wear a size 6 dress and this was true to size. 

Very comfortable. Because it is backless, I wore it without a bra, which kind of smooshed me in, but I don't think it affected the look. 

I ordered a 6 and an 8. The 6 fit snugly enough up top so that I could skip wearing a bra with the lace back. Was pretty and comfortable at an outdoor wedding and on the dance floor! 

I rented this dress for a recital. I wore my backup dress instead. This was very lightweight material - Flows nice on the bottom but snug across the bust. I do feel like it bloused out over my bust making my midsection appear larger than it was- but this was just the design of the dress & extra material in the mid section. 
While the lace back is what makes this dress, the front just looks so plain! The lace kinda blends in from a distance and I feel like the style is somewhat outdated. It felt & looked like I was wearing a long tank top! I felt like I just blended in with all the other black dresses- nothing special with this one! 
Unless you're at some event where the back will be seen a good majority of time, I'd select another style! 

I rented this dress for a Argentine Tango competition. What drew me to this dress was the lace on the back, and that the skirt looked like it had great movement.
I probably should have sized down, since the torso felt a little loose, but it was comfortable for movement. The places I noticed it most were in the waist, and on the back (some gaping which meant the lace didn't lay as flat as it could have).
The skirt did move well, and was great for dancing. It would be fun if RTR had a filter for "dance-ability," "twirls well," or "flowy"... I'm half kidding on that.
The recurring issue I have with RTR dresses, because I'm petite, is that they run long. On this dress, it gave it a slight drop-waist effect which wasn't the most flattering.
I'm glad I rented this, and it served me well. Meanwhile, I'll keep waiting for the day when RTR will have a petite-versions of outfits.

Loved this dress for a close friends wedding. I got so many complements. Make sure you have a backless bra option for this dress as the lace detail in the back was lower than I thought. I used my NuBra and it worked perfectly. To me this dress ran big. I usually wear a 4 but opted to wear the 2 in this particular dress.

Fit was perfect. Wore sticky bra, but could have gone without a bra. I got a size 2 and 4. I was surprised the 2 fit best. I am 5.7 and weigh 125. 

Loved this dress. Other reviewers were not kidding when they said it ran large. I'm typically between sizes 6 & 8 so I went with the 6 and probably could've worn a 4. Very comfortable, easy to wear. Worn as a wedding guest. 

The length is long which was great for my 5'9" height. It's all lace so I was careful of snagging. Very flattering and easy to wear! The back is see through lace and I wore a nude bandeau style bra. 

This dress was an absolute pleasure to wear. The dress sat at my natural waist, which at 5'9" is usually a challenge. The back is lacy and see through so I wore a backless bra but probably could have pulled off a nude regular one. It was comfy, flattering, and classic. Definitely one I will try to find to buy and wear again!

The 2 was a bit big so I'm glad I ordered a 0 also. Very comfortable but I needed to wear an adhesive bra.  I received many compliments that night!

I rented this dress for a formal wedding and it was perfect.  It runs big, I think I could have worn an 8, but they didn't have my backup size to rent. As such, it was actually really comfortable and the lace back was a beautiful touch.  Didn't need to wear a bra and that also worked out just fine.

Fit as i expected it to, liked the open lace details on the back! Very comfortable!

I was very happy with this dress! I felt so pretty, and it was really comfortable to wear. I was nervous about going without a bra, but I wore adhesive covers on the front, and the dress was fitted around the chest and gave good support. My first experience with RTR, very pleased all around!

This was my backup dress...but was the best choice for the wedding attended. Loved this dress...loved the lace details, especially on the back. Will rent again in a heartbeat!!

It fit great. I'm very broad so the 10 fit perfect. Very comfortable and danced all night. 

Fit spectacularly. The lace back gives it a little something extra that helps a lot. 

I wore this dress to a gala and it was so comfortable and looked great! It runs a little large, so the 0 fit perfectly. It was form fitting without feeling restricted. I loved how the skirt flowed!

Extremely comfortable and seriously fierce! Usually I wear a size 6 but appreciated all of the reviews and was so glad I got a size 4 - fit like a glove!

This dress was perfect for a French-themed charity event. I got compliments all night! What was even more amazing was that I chose this dress after my original one was not able to be sent to me, and the alternates didn't fit at all. This dress had been on my favorites list, so I picked it! I would definitely rent it again! 

I ordered a size 6 and an 8. I could have worn either of them, but the 6 was a bit more fitted without being constricting. It fell mid calf and have great movement. I'm 5'4. The back was the best part of the dress - so pretty. I would have preferred to wear a backless bra, but with an outdoor summer ceremony in 95 degrees and high humidity - I went with a nude strapless. Unless you are really looking for it, you wouldn't notice the bra through the lace. I wear either a 32F or a 34DD depending on the brand of bra. Overall just a very pretty and comfortable choice, I'd definitely wear it again. Classic look. It would work with a wide variety of jewelry- imo. Solid choice for anything semi formal and up. 

Fit was great, excellent for dancing and even comfortable on the 90 minute drive home at the end of the night. 

Got this as a backup dress and very glad I did. Wore this for a work party and it was very appropriate and comfortable for dancing. Would've gone a size down if I could have. Runs large.

Pictures don't do this dress justice! It is so comfortable and beautiful on. The lace back adds a great touch without being too revealing. I'm 5'2" and the skirt came to around my mid-calf. Will definitely rent again!

I loved the fit of this dress. It was so  comfortable and fun to dance in. I'd absolutely recommend this dress for a formal event. It definitely runs large though, so I’d size down. I’m normally an 8, but I wore a 6 in this dress and was thankful I had the backup size. Also, be aware that the back is see-through, so you either have to wear a backless bra or just know that your bra will be showing through the lace.

I love this dress! Wore it to a Roaring Twenties event! I ordered the 8 and then the 6 as a backup. I ended wearing the six and it was still a little big but not baggy. 

The dress runs large, I typically wear an 8 and the 6 fit easily. The back is see-through lace, not nude underlay so you have to go braless or with a backless bra!

The dress fit great, was flattering in all the right places, was comfortable andc fun.  I wore it to my work Christmas party and it was perfect. 

This dress fit perfect!! I wish I could buy it :) The back is gorgeous (sticky bra required) and the overall design is fun for dancing and flattering!

My first rental and couldn't be more pleased!  Loved the lace and the back was such a nice detail!  You can't wear a bra, but I'm okay with that because I'm small busted. Received so many compliments, even that it was the prettiest dress of the night (minus the brides)!  Will rent again!

The dress fit true to size, if anything I would say it maybe ran a tad large. It was super comfortable, I loved the length. My absolute favorite part about this dress was the back though, which is all open. Because of the open back, I was not able to wear a bra which is not something I typically do. However, it did not bother me and I was comfortable. 

I loved this dress and would rent it again. I wore a Nubra, which worked out perfectly, even with some pretty serious dancing. It was incredibly comfortable (again, dancing). I do think it runs a little large. I'm a pretty solid 10, and I think an 8 in this dress would have fit better.

This was close to true to size but runs slightly large. I got a 6 and an 8 and could have made either fit but the 8 was a bit more comfy. I should also note - I wasn't sure from other pictures if the back was see through lace or had a nude lining - it is pure lace so you'll want to go with a backless bra or a nude one, fyi. Overall, this was great! Low-maintence, no constant adjusting needed.

Loved this dress! Wore it for a friend's wedding. The lace pattern, handkerchief bottom and open lace back made it unique from other LBDs, but still classy. Very comfortable, and easy to dress up in different ways depending on your accessories. Would consider buying this one.
