I’m 5’11”, so I did not have a length issue like other reviewers. I could wear it with flat shoes. These are definitely comfy, like pajama pants, but they are not velvet, they are velveteen, which makes them feel a little less luxurious. I wore the outfit once to a dinner party, and the jacket one more time with jeans, but that was enough.

It has an elastic waistband that makes the fit snug but versatile
I wore these to work with a formal black blazer, black mock turtle and black suede stiletto booties and got a ton of compliments. More than that - I was beyond comfortable!
I’m a tall girl, and I had these pulled all the way up to my ribs, and these brushed the floor. Not for short girls.
This was wayyy too long. In the crotch, at the legs, just unwearable for a 5’4” girl like myself. They were hiked up as high as they go, I wore heels, and these were still dragging. Cute with the matching robe, I got lots of compliments, but I felt that it was very unflattering & I couldn’t wait to take them off
This was such a sad rental. I’m not sure who these pants would fit, but it ain’t me. I’m 5’3 and an 8-10 and the waistband hits at my boobs. The waist itself is a bit tight but there’s a weird, huge loose bunch of fabric in the front. It’s such a shame because from the thigh down these are gorgeous pants that are so comfortable. You could maybe make it work if you work the matching blazer closed all night, covering the foopa these pants so kindly make for you.
Sits high on the waist and the gathered elastic style is not at all flattering. I suppose it was meant to be comfortable, but it just looks bunched up with the weight of the fabric. A pity because the velvet print is attractive. The pants are also extremely long (and I am 5’9”)
Whoever designed the fit of these pants should be fired. My only compliment is they were long enough for a tall person, unfortunately, still unflattering
