Wore this for a work user conference and it was perfect. It was comfortable and the ruffle at the bottom adds a flirty twist to it.  I received many compliments, especially surrounding the color. I liked it so much I bought it and plan to wear for a wedding!

I was worried this dress would emphasize my recent weight gain but it did just the opposite. The material is thick enough to smooth out insecurities but thin/breathable enough to endure an outdoor wedding/reception in Louisiana in June. Form fitting enough to highlight assets without being uncomfortable. I might end up buying it

Maybe it's the fact that I am only 5'3 but this dress had a fair amount of extra fabric bunching around stomach area. Still cute and I enjoyed wearing it, but felt like it was made for someone with a longer torso or something? 

Fabric was not very stretchy which made it a little tight on my 33 wk pregnant stomach. I'd recommend going up two sizes from your normal size for this style if you are as pregnant as me. Good length for me but I'm only 5 feet tall! 

A bit big in the mid section and not sexy. But grew on me as I wore it. Fabric is breathable.

Loved this dress! It fit perfectly and was really fun with the flare at bottom - only thing is that it does make the dress flare out at the bottom so can seem a little short if you bend over. 

This dress is great for summer days at the office. It fits perfectly my petite frame (read not to short for the office) although it was a little loose around the waist.
I loved the color and the length of the sleeves.

Fit perfectly and easy to accessorize.  I'm larger in the busy with a smaller waist and this dress was perfect.  Served as emcee for a work conference and got compliments all day on the dress.

This was my first time using RTR and I had the unfortunate experience of getting my back up style. While I loved the color of the dress, like others have mentioned, the fabric is thin (any lumps or bumps you might be self conscious about will show) and I found the dress to be a little snug in the arms. I normally wear a size 0 and this is the size I wore in the dress, but I would have liked to have the size 2 for comparison. 

This dress isn't something I would normally buy, but it was fun to try a different look for a day! I wish it were a bit fitted around the waist. Great blue color. Fits true to size. 

This is a beautiful a well constructed dress!  I typically wear a 2 or 4 in dresses but those sizes were not available.  I'm not sure that I could have worn a smaller size in this dress because it was a little tight in the chest (32D) and arms, while it was lose in the torso & hips.  Overall a great dress though!  The color is vibrant & rich.

Great conservative dress for a work party. Since I'm short, the length was at my knee. The fabric is on the thin side, so you definitely need spanx. It runs true to size. 

The blue of this dress stands out! It runs slighly small specially the sleeves. If you have larger arms make sure you size up. There's stretch to this fabric but not too much, enough to tuck you in. 

The fit was true, forgiving fabric but be careful, shows everything, may need spanks. Somewhat loose, boxy in mid section. There was an issue with the first dress I rented had a hole in the seam. Rtr was great and sent a new one right away, great customer service.

Fit great, although it was a big snug in the shoulders because of the sleeves - so if you have bigger arms or shoulders (muscular, etc) that could be a problem. 

Wore this for a work shoot and it was awesome.  Great color and loved how it was textured fabric.  The ruffle on the bottom added very cute flair.

I like the texture, color and style. The material is thin but not see through. Got lots of compliments. I will say it was a little tight around the chest and airs, and I sized up and didn't feel like it was the most flattering for my large bust and apple like shape. But it wasn't bad. 

Fits true to size. I can imagine it would be short on taller girls since I'm only 5,1". I don't like how this dress has no fit in the stomach area - on me it was baggy in the stomach. Still, it was comfortable and pretty! 

This dress fits true to size. I generally wear a 4/6. I wore the 6 so the dress wouldn't too firm fitting making it appropriate to wear fir a day at the office. The cut and style are simple but the color is beautiful and bright making this dress stand out. I will reorder again for a work event. 

I loved the vibrant blue color, textured material, short sleeves and ruffled hemline of this dress that I wore for a work presentation. It was definitely fitted - I would have liked a tiny bit more room, but threw on some spanx to smooth out lines. I wore a gold statement necklace (sorry my hand & phone are blocking) and gold jewelry to go with nude heels. Not my favorite ever, but I liked it!

Great flirty peplum bottom that's long enough to be work appropriate. Great fit to accentuate your curves. 

Wore this dress to work and really loved the shade of blue. It is a tad bit too short for a formal work setting, but I went for it anyway. There is a weird situation with the zipper -- it ends around your tailbone area and creates bulge. I kept having to smooth it out, but it didn't stay. It was such a awkward quirk of the dress. Otherwise, an easy dress to wear for an office setting.

This dress is conservative and so much fun.  The flare on the bottom is fun and flirty.   Fits true to size and straight through the hips. You'll love the bright color and fun twist on a traditional style. 


Ultra cute dress I rented for an art opening in my city I was involved in.  I got a 6 and a 4.  I tried on the 4 thinking, ok let's get the depressing part out of the way.  Woah was I wrong.  It's supposed to be form fitting like the model's... I was swimming in the 4.  with at least 1 inch on either side of my waist.  It's a shame too because it's so perfect for the event... if it fit properly.

Beautiful striking blue color. If you have blue eyes it looks amazing! Only downside is the neckline is plain. You will want a statement necklace. I loved the short skirt and flirty hem. Other drawback is that if you have a true hourglass figure, it can look boxy on you because the wait is straight. Other than that, a great find!

I rented this when I had to sing with my mom and sisters at a church event. Length was good for that, hit right at the knee.  Gorgeous color & I got compliments on it. The fabric does stretch some, but it's very thin so it doesn't hide anything. I ended up wearing a sweater because it was chilly & the fabric has no warmth. Would be great for a summer event, even though it has sleeves. I took one star off because it just didn't seem much different than a dress I could buy elsewhere. It was cute - just not exceptional. 

I rented this dress for a work-related awards ceremony and it was the perfect style for the night! I loved the color and the dress was flirty but still work-appropriate. The fabric is textured and also has some stretch to it, and the hem hit just above my knees. I liked that the fabric had some give to it so that the cap sleeves weren't restricting in any way. 

I rented this dress to wear when getting photos taken for my work website (the attached image is not one of them!).  I loved the color and the modest cut of the dress for the office setting. But, the fabric looked and felt a lot cheaper than what I would expect given the price.  This dress was fine, but not memorable.

This photo obviously doesn't do the color justice... it is a beautiful, bright blue and received a ton of compliments that it was "my color."  I'm a 2-4 and rented a 4 since it was for work meetings.  I definitely could have worn a 2 but I think the 4 was perfect for work, so if you're looking for a sexier fit, wear your smaller of preferred sizes.  The dress is very versatile and I would definitely consider renting it again... would be great for everything from work events to a daytime wedding or shower to a night out.

I want this dress in every color!! So comfortable and versatile. I wouldn't suggest this dress for work if over 5'4. At my height, the length was about 3 or 4 inches above my knees. 

Rented this for a rehearsal dinner. Could definitely wear this for an office event as well. The fit and drape of fabric is typical of a shift, but the bottom hem made it fun. The color is vibrant in person. I loved the dress so much I almost wanted to wear it again for the wedding. Shoshanna dresses in general are great for those with a larger bust, I never have to guess at my size. 

I selected the dress for the color and it didn't disappoint. I was being appointed to a City Commission and I wanted my photos to be memorable. It was professional enough for the occasion and although a bit short it still felt appropriate. I wore the size ten so that I could be comfortable and I was. It was a tad bit around the waist which was perfect since I'm a few pounds overweight. Received lots of compliments. Definitely needs a statement necklace to finish off the look, otherwise it's too plain. 

The vibrant color of this dress is what initially attracted me to it. I'd say it was a bit snug, but I'm a bit bigger in the hip area. Overall was true to size. Loved the ruffle of the dress at the bottom. Added a nice feminine touch. Great for work. 

This was a backup dress when RTR didn't have my size in the dress I wanted. I found it to be flattering on my post-pregnancy body. This dress was a classy and conservative choice for my son's baptism and I received several compliments. I would probably rent it again. 

This dress is a pretty color. The dress is generally loose-fitting. I would say it ran true to size. The material has more detail than I expected. It's light, comfortable, easy to wear. It was fun. I liked it. It was cute, but it wasn't my favorite.
