This was my back up dress, but it was a toss up! It fit beautifully and is true to size. I could have been confident in this despite having a little tummy from having a baby. 

This dress hugs the body in all the right places. The off shoulder stayed in place nicely, however if you want to dance and lift your arms up you will be restricted due to the snug fit across the arms. But the dress is so fabulous I didn't mind that at all. Received lots of compliments. 

I’m 6.5 months pregnant with my 2nd and wore a size up from my usual. It had a bit of stretch around the abdomen area, so it was not too tight and awesome not to have to wear a maternity dress (which usually aren’t the best in style). Paired with pearl jewelry and silver sparkle heels for a holiday pop. Soft fabric, yet supportive around all my new curves. 

Worn for a black tie wedding near Miami. I loved this dress, it looked amazing and I got so many compliments. I did spend a good 30-45 minutes steaming the dress and still couldn’t get the ruffle to lay as advertised. I think that was partially because the dress was a size too big. I would be curious to see how it looked in the 8L or 10R. I was surprised at how easy the shoulders stayed up the whole night, I never fussed with them once and I’m definitely a dancing queen at a wedding. 

It fitted just right. I used it for a formal company X-mas party. I received a lot of compliments. Very comfortable dress. It contours great to your body.

This dress wasn't my first choice. It fit ok and was pretty comfortable. I wouldn't rent it again. 

Traveled to a black tie wedding with this dress. It is a classic gown, perfect for the turn-of-the-century mansion that was the venue. Also important to me was that it packed easily and arrived with few wrinkles. The dress is thick with some stretch- I wore my normal size. 

Fit well. Thought I would have to go with the large size but I fit into both and decided on the smaller one.
Don't order the Long size unless your very tall.  Would have been tripping on it.  I went with the 12R and it was great.

As you can see from this picture, this dress was amazing. Sheer perfection.

Had a small amount of stretch so it fit and was very comfy!

I had to get a size 2 size bigger because there was nothing available, but it still looked great and It was comfortable and wore it all night! 

This dress was the second lowest voted RTR dress amongst my peers. I had a personal connection with the cobalt blue that peeks through (needs to be steamed or ironed for proper ruffle effect). I picked blue Saphire jewelry to accent it even more. I absolutely loved this dress and almost just went with it. But I think my voters really saw something more with a different dress on me so I trusted their judgement. Hope to find more peek-a-boo colored slits especially in red, fuchsia, and other colors that pop!

I have large breasts and always struggle with dresses. This fit amazing and was really high quality material. I absolutely recommend this dress!! 


I just LOVED everything about this! I went to my first gala and was able to find a beautiful, chic dress for a mere fraction of that this dress would actually cost me. 

Not only was my dress on time, it was a day early! 
Out of the bag, the dress was in pristine condition and fit perfectly. I did not get the back up option, I'm glad it worked out. 

The return was super easy, just use the return label & drop it at any UPS location. Two days later I received a confirmation email. Super easy. 


I wear a 38DD with a bit of a mom belly. I am a 10 or 12 in dresses, and the 12 fit me perfectly. I was worried the 12L would be too long as they were out of regular, but with my 3" heels it was fine, if a tad long in the back. The fabric is really nice and I loved the pop of blue. I was comfortable all night long.

Beautiful dress. Very comfortable. I normally wear a size 4 and this was true to size 

I ordered this as a back up and although it was a little baggy, it was super comfy! The flash of cobalt is to die for and pops more than the photos may show. The material felt great and  let me dance half the night away. I am a true 14 but decided on a 16L on this dress bc I wanted to be sure that it fit as it was arriving with no time for return... I was pleased and so was my husband. Thanks RTR for making this so easy! 

Fit beautifully - very flattering. A bit of stretch but good quality fabric.

I wore this to a corporate Christmas party for work and absolutely loved it. Material is good quality, heavy and has stretch so it's forgiving lol. I'm 5'8, 180 lbs and the size 12L fit like a glove. I wore heels and the long was perfect. Got so many compliments. I also wore a black pashmina with it because it's cold here in the evenings. I didn't try on the 14 at all. Loved this dress and would rent again!!

Flatteringly sexy. The bodice hugged all the right places and swung beautifully on the dance floor. I received compliments all night.

Was easy to move around in, sleeves stayed snug. Perfect!

I rented this dress last minute and they only had the 12L available in my size. I took a chance and ordered it. When it arrived, I tried it on and it fit just right. It wasn’t snug and it hid my imperfections well. The shoulder straps stayed where they were suppose to stay as well. I am 5’4 and had on 1 ½ in heels on so the dress hit the floor, but I wasn’t tripping over them. I believe it looked better that way.

This dress is beautiful and easy to wear. It runs true to size and the length was perfect for my 3in heels. The fabric is a strong material with a bit of give for that perfect fit. I wore this gown to a black tie benefit - but it could easily be worn to a formal corporate event or a wedding. I felt beautiful and received many compliments all night! 

I wore this dress to a work gala and received lots of compliments.  This dress was flattering, comfortable and fun!    With heels it was a perfect length.

Very comfortable dress, perfect for my gala, true to size. I have no complaints excellent experience. 

Fit was true to an 8 - I am typically an 8 or 10, and I liked the tighter fit, it wasn't uncomfortable and looked really great. Since it's black it is mostly forgiving, but it is tight enough that it will show off some of your curves, especially your stomach. The wires that hold up the dress on each side actually started to poke out on each side which was a bit uncomfortable, which I was managing with dress tape to cover. I had no problems dancing in this dress, though you can't raise your hands completely in the air, but that wasn't that big of a deal. The dress looked absolutely stunning overall and I received so many compliments - usually I go for all black, and it was so fun to have this pop of blue that differentiated from the sea of all the other black dresses. I am 5'8, and the dress slightly touched the floor with my 4" heels, but I certainly was not tripping over it. Overall, a FABULOUS dress!!

I am 5’3” and the length was too long for me, but I wore a 2” heel so it might work with a bigger heel. 

Beautiful dress. Fit like a glove. I'm a short girl so I just pulled the dress up a bit so I wouldn't step on the bottom of the dress. Definitely recommend it.

I didn't end up wearing it. You can't tell in the pics but there was so much extra material in my stomach area it felt very baggy. I have a really small waist though so  it may be different on other people. 

Wore this dress to the Tony Awards and felt very elegant among all the other ball gowns and tuxes. Many compliments. Warning to larger chested ladies-it's a little tight in the bodice. I normally wear a 14, but glad I also ordered the 16. Even that zipped tight over the chest and ended up loose in the waist, though due to the draping, that wasn't noticeable. Also heavier than I expected, which was fine for NYC in early June, but might be uncomfortable in warmer weather. However, for the time, place and event, it worked out wonderfully. Wrap is my own, clutch also RTR.

The length was a just a bit too long because I wore flats. Otherwise, the fit was perfect, especially the fit around the bust.

Stunning dress! Thick material that has slight stretch to make it comfortable.
