I rented this for my client/friend for engagement photos I took of her.  The sparkle was so pretty in the photos and she had a lot of fun wearing this dress!

The fit was a bit small, and I'm decently small framed to start with. I would recommend going a size up than your normal dress size for sure!  I'm 5'9, so the dress was mid knee. I got compliments all night long! 

The only con to this dress is the sequins: they leave rub burns, and itched all night. The only ones that bothered me were the sleeves under my arms. Besides that and the sizing, I would HIGHLY recommend!

 I love that it runs large!  I am typically an 8 and I wore a 6 and felt fabulous.

I absolutely loved wearing this sparkly, yet classy dress to my husband's military dinner! It was heavy, but not too heavy. I wore a long line bra with a low back and it worked great! So many compliments!

Second time I have rented this dress, only I did the blue instead of the gold. Love this dress and would wear it again and again if I owned it!

I rented this dress for my work holiday party and it worked out great. It fit true to size and stood out as something difference with all the sparkles. The dress is high quality and heavy. The only thing I did not like was that it was a little too long. I am 5'7" and the dress went a few inches below my knees. I wore heels to make up for it, but it was still a little too long. Overall, I was happy with the dress. 

This is a really fun dress - it is super sparkly and the detail is beautiful. It is not too revealing (knee-length and high in the chest), which works well since the dress itself is quite flashy and attention-grabbing. I love the back -- I used double-sided tape to hold my strapless bra down just under the back line (otherwise it would pop up and show). The dress is heavy due to all of the sequins, and was perfect for a winter wedding on New Years Eve. It would probably be too heavy in the summer. It fit perfectly to size, was comfortable, and it didn't even rise up when I twirled so I didn't have to worry about flashing anyone on the dance floor! Highly recommend.

This dress was perfect for NYE! It is a little heavy, but If you wear the correct size you won't even notice. I ordered a 12 and 14... Usually wear a 14. The larger size was very frumpy with lots of extra fabric. I recommend sizing down.

Would rent again! Maybe in another color



Rented for birthday dinner. Loved the fit but hated how itchy the armpits were. It was pretty distracting most of the night. I only wore for 2 hours but would think if longer I would've had sores under my arms! Too bad because it is very flattering and fun. 

I had an excuse to wear sequins! I rented this dress in a 14 and 12. I run between those sizes after my two kids. The 12 fit good w room, I prob could have even fit into a 10. It was so comfy and flattering. Perfect length. I love all the BM dresses, its my second rental from the brand. I would size down for your free second size. I also have a larger rib cage and usually have a problem in the breast area w these dresses but it fit and I had room! Loved it, would wear again !

Wore this dress for a great gatspy theme party. It's very sparkily when the light hits it... i definitely stood out.

Pros: this worked great on my 5'1" apple shape (140#), only needed simple accessories since the patterned sequins were just stunning all by themselves, very comfortable to sit or stand in, runs big (I am really a designer size 10 based on the other RTR dresses I have worn), lots of compliments

Cons: the zipper is a bit difficult to do because of the sequins and whatnot, said sequins could be a bit scratchy on the under arm, but I just put on some Body Glide (runners, you know what I am talking about) and that prevented any chaffing and discomfort, runs large (order your normal size and a size down)

One last thing: the size 8 and size 10 "blue" color were quite different. This, the size 8, was more navy/gray blue and the size 10 was a more vibrant blue/violet color. Both were lovely. Just a note of comparison.

I rented this dress for a New Year's Eve party. I got so many compliments! It fit true to size and was comfortable to dance in all night! 

I rented this dress for my husbands work holiday party and wow! I loved it, as did everybody else! All night I heard how amazing this dress was! I wanted something that was sparkly but something that wouldn't draw attention to my mid section and this dress did just that! So flattering! The sparkles did irritate my arms by the end of the night, but not enough to make me not recommend this gorgeous dress! 

The dress was perfect.  The waist fell just a little high, covering my problem areas, the skirt was fun and looked great while giving lots of room to dance.  A strapless bra pulled down allowed me to be comfortable without any undergarments showing in the back cut out.  I received compliments over and over again in the dress.  It was comfortable all night long.  I just wished I'd packed flats in my purse to dance longer.  

I would rent this again! I accidentally ordered the 16 instead of 16w so it wasn't fitting my bust area. The 14W fit perfectly! Also there is a color difference between the plus sizes and regular sizes. Regular was a dark navy blue while plus was a brighter blue which I liked better. I was able to wear my normal bra even with the open back. Everyone was stopping me to tell me how stunning the dress was. Only tip would be to prep your arms for the sequins scratching but I expected that. Love!! 

The cap sleeves and conservative neckline made this dress appropriate for my work holiday party. The back of the dress is very pretty, but you can't wear a regular bra. I agree with other reviews, the length of this dress is not ideal for a petite frame, that's why I rated four stars, but I'm still glad I rented it for my event!  I threw on the necklace at the last minute, I thought it might be too much, but it ended up looking great.

This dress is beautiful with the sparkly blue sequins & backless back. It fit me perfect. I got stopped so many times by people coming up to me saying how beautiful I looked & how much they liked my dress. I was worried about how this would fit due to being such a "pear" shape. But shopping by "body type,"  RTR provided me with excellent options. Since this is a backless dress I had to wear one of those stick on bras which I purchased from RTR when I ordered my dress. It worked perfectly!  Stayed put all night. So if you're ready for a lot of attention & a ton of compliments, rent this dress!! This is the first time I ever rented a dress & I had such a positive experience that I've already ordered a dress for my Christmas Eve event and son's college graduation celebration. 

I rented this dress for a Christmas dinner and wine tasting with work associates. I ordered a size 8 and a 10. The 10 probably felt more comfortable (roomy) but I liked the length of the 8 better so I wore the 8. The dress was very comfortable, and I felt quite glamorous. My husband told me I looked very beautiful. That's always good.  :-)

I loved this dress. It was flattering in all the right places and concealed the problem areas too!  The length was perfect and the color was great!  My only complaint is that my arms were sore from the sequins rubbing after wearing for 3-4 hours.
