I rented the size 2R for our second wedding ceremony in my husband's hometown in rural Alaska. This was a backup to my backup dress and was the only size they had left. I am 5'10" and wore 3" heels and, surprisingly, the length of the 2R was perfect. The fit is somewhat snug, and I probably could have gone with size 4. The dress is ivory and matched my satin ivory shoes perfectly. I paired it with the Nicole Miller Silver Southern Plantation Earrings and the Ben-Amun Crystal Cambon Pearl Bracelet (both of which were of surprisingly good quality). 

I was extremely impressed with the tenacity of the RTR representatives with this rental. They delivered it within 24 hours to an out-of-the-way Alaska bush airline in Anchorage, Alaska in time for the daily "milk run" plane to deliver the package to my extremely remote location. That is what I call service!!

This is a very bridal dress, and I could not imagine wearing it for anything other than my wedding.  It's very classic, but the zipper and fit makes it more modern. I was extremely nervous that it wouldn't fit right, but this dress was true to size and extremely flattering, especially for your hips.  ;)  The support was great and I didn't need to worry about a boob slip or finding a correct bra.  When I first put it on in my tiny NYC closet, I freaked out because I thought the bottom was "too poofy," but once I was outside and all done up, I felt far more comfortable in it.  My husband was floored and I had random people coming up to me around Central Park telling me that the dress was perfect.  It was a good length for my 4" Louboutins, so be wary of shorter heels.  I wore it with Chloe & Isabel earrings/bracelet that brought out the slight gold sheen.  I tried a necklace with it, but thought it detracted from the simplicity and elegance of the gown.  Overall: renting a beautiful dress you'll wear once and spending money on nice shoes you'll wear again and again is the way to go.  This dress in particular is perfect for your wedding. The fit of this dress is spectacular. I rented it for my Senior Prom and I received tons of compliments on it. I am 5'9" and I wore 3 inch heels and the 2L was the perfect length. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone looking for an elegant, beautiful dress.

I rented this as a backup with no intention of wearing it for my beach wedding. But as soon as I tried it on, it became The One. The color is an incredibly gorgeous ivory, and the quality of the fabric is amazing--thick but not heavy, the fabric weight combined with the structure built into the dress make you stand up straight, float when you walk and feel like you've lost 10 pounds.

The fit was spot on. I'm a curvy size 4, and this fit like it was tailored for me. Accentuated curves, but in a classy way. Be forewarned, though: if you have an extra curvy or more athletically shaped body, the waist and derriere parts of this dress are sculpted to fit closely to the body; there's no give or flex. So, you need to be able to fit into the lines of the dress, or completely fill it out, because it keeps its shape regardless! Would probably work best on hourglass body types, which is what I am. The fit was very true to size; this is not a dress you can get away with trying to 'squeeze into' if RTR doesn't have your size available. 

Because of the fabric weight and bodice structure, the strapless top holds up without any fear of slipping down. Worked with a regular Victoria's Secret Very Sexy strapless plunge bra, and not to belabor the point, but the fabric weight means that you can wear pretty much anything underneath...or nothing, if that's your thing. Can't imagine anything showing through. Highly recommended.


For our 10th anniversary, we decided to remake our wedding photos.  10 years and 2 kids having gone by, I wasn't about to make my wife try and fit into her wedding gown from back then.  This was a PERFECT plan B!

It fit like a glove and the stiff fabric held in or pushed up everything just right.

This was not my first choice (nor second, even), but it is a very pretty dress.  *Heads up: there is NO give to this dress!*  It was very snug at the bust, ribs and hips, so I had to be careful sitting, but a 6 wasn't available, so I made it work.  Just know that it would be wise to go up in size as a back-up dress.   I was glad to be wearing a white dress in a sea of black, but the dress did feel a bit bridal to me.  I added a lot of gold jewelry to add sparkle for our holiday ball, including a brooch that I clipped at the waist.  I received many compliments, including a "best-dressed of the night" by some hotel guests.  ; ) 

This dress is amazing. I received more compliments than ever imagined. I wanted to stand out at the gala, as I correctly assumed that most women would be in black. Heads literally turned and watched this dress glide across the floor. I wore the 10reg because it gave me a little more room in the bust. You can't see from the pic but the side zipper (on the right hand side of dress) is gold with a long flat pull. It's a nice detail. The dress length was perfect with a 3" pump. Walking was easy. Steps, not so much. I had to hand my drink off and use both hands to avoid stepping on it. But that's not really an issue unless you plan on climbing stairs a lot. The material is as rich as the cream color. The quality is top notch. After our black tie affair we went to the bustling hotel bar and everyone thought I was a bride. It would make any bride proud. I also rented the Sequin Stardust Necklace from RTR and paired that with my own pearl earrings and bracelet. 

Great dress! It's cream not true white. I wore 2R. I am almost 5'7 and wore 3 inch heels. It was perfect length. I got compliments all night about the dress. Simple and elegant....exactly what I wanted. RTR staff were great to work with! My first dress I chose was too big and too short. Both sizes. I called in and the RTR staff chose this one for me based on my likes and needs. It came overnight and was perfect! I can't say enough about how great RTR staff were to work with. I will use them often!!! 

The dress was gorgeous and classy. It is definitely made for someone with an hourglass silhouette. I'm more of a pear proportionally so it was a little loose on top even though it hugged me perfectly on my hips. I got the longer version (as opposed to regular size) because I'm 5'-7" and wore 4" heels. The length was perfect.

Loved this dress!! My favorite ever. I felt like a princess all night. Classically beautiful. Stood out in  sea of black. I wanted to buy it -- it felt so perfect for me. 

This dress fit well, I was able to zip it easily up the side. However, I chose to wear my 1st choice to my Military Ball.
