Perfect wrap dress. Material is a little thick but It was great
Fabric is very thick, not like a typical DVF wrap. Sleeves are a little long so I rolled them.
Great fit
Arms were a little baggy
Very flattering and low key sexy.
It's hard to go wrong with a classic DVF wrap dress. I usually need to size up one or two sizes in DVF, but for this one, I could have gone with my regular size 4 as the size 6 was a bit too big. Because it's a wrap dress, however, it was fine. The fabric is heavy and good for NYC cooler weather. Overall, a great DVF basic black wrap dress!
The quality of this dress is brilliant. I see it as a dress I may have bought if it had fit at all.
The dress was too big on me because I couldn't adjust the belt to be small enough. Other than that, it was a great dress!
The shoulders were too large for me, and the wrap part sat too high on my waist and made me look boxy. Beautiful but not for me.
This dress fit really well and was very flattering. The sleeves were a little long, but I'm short. Also, have larger boobs so had to wear a cami underneath so it would be work-appropriate, but I didn't mind.
I am a die hard wrap dress lover and this one was a fantastic twist on the always classy and sexy style. Fabric is thick and the wrap across the chest is pretty easy to adjust to the height preferred. The slouchy/dolman look of the sleeves and chest are good contrast to the length. It isn't super long so the conservative cut makes it easy to compensate for the length (i wore it with tights and knee high riding boots). Would recommend!!
I loved the dress, however, being a big chested lady it was not the best fit in the chest area.
The dress is well made, and has nice, heavier fabric. I think it is probably more suitable for a smaller bust.
Loved the material and style; however the top was huge
I am pear shaped and so need to wear larger dresses to fit in my butt and thighs but then I am rather petite on top. While I loved this dress, unfortunately the size I ordered looks good below my waist but I was swimming in fabric in the top and chest because I have no boobs to fill the larger size dress. May be better suited for someone whose proportions are not as drastic as mine.
This could have been very cute but the top is oversized unless you are very tall with very long arms. The shoulders don't line up with the hip portion of the dress and the arms are several inches too long.
I love the material of this dress -- it's thick and of good quality. I really, really wanted to love this dress but the fit was bad. The skirt (bottom part) fit good, but the top part just had an unflattering design.
Dress was great. I couldn't wear it out given how low the front was (I have a very large chest). Material was definitely heavier and hotter than I expected
I needed to wear a cami underneath. Fit is ok. This dress is clearly not the famously great DVF Jeanne dress. Material is thicker and the fit isn't quite as nice.
It is quite bulky on the wrap and the sleeves are somewhat like dolman sleeves making the top feel bulky but not flowy due to the heavy fabric weight. Just kind of a bulky fabric with a cut that should be more floaty/flowy. Overall just OK in terms of fit, fabric and style.
I didn't end up wearing this dress because the sleeves were so wide and long. The fit around the shoulders was very awkward and the sleeves went almost to the ends of my fingers. It is not like the other DVF wrap dresses I love so much.
The dress was okay, it just was quite plain and looked a bit too much like a Karate outfit.
It was enormous on top and too small on the bottom
This is an odd dress. Its wrap but wraps from left side in vs a normal right. The hem isnt tacked around the neck so it doesnt stay down; and the material is stiff. Very disappointed overall
The hem line was more jagged/varied due to the wrap nature vs. the picture and I really liked that interest as well as the dress length. Up top, there was a lot of excess material by the armpits/upper chest area. I couldn't find my fashion tape and could have used it to keep the neckline from coming unfolded and also to secure it in place to have a hint of cleavage... when it closed up, it tended to become a bit frumpier-looking. That could have been fixed easily with fashion tape.
Although the skirt of the size 4 was appropriate, the top was enormous, falling off my shoulders. I loved the design /fabric of the dress but couldn't wear it.
Unlike other DVF dresses. Heavy fabric drapes oddly so it looks boxy. The wrap portion sits too low on my waist to be flattering. The upper body fits slightly large, so it might be better for larger chests.
It was too big and I couldn't figure out how to wear it.
I didn't end up wearing this because the fit was large and boxy and I had other options.
Big in shoulders and didn't wrap well enough to keep my torso covered. Maybe because I was a petite?
This was sent to me as a backup dress. I did not wear it because my original dress was better. This wrap dress would be more interesting in a different color and a flowier fabric. It's a thick poly and the solid black was too heavy looking. The sleeves were a tad long but the rest of it fit fine. Having tried it on I wouldn't rent this dress only because there are other more flattering options for me.
I didn't take any pictures, but what I can tell you is that I looked like I was wearing an robe. Not flattering. At all.
Material was stiffer than expected.
