Pros: beautiful design, lots of compliments Cons: zipper didn't stay up because there was no hook at the top, normally I wear 8 but got a 10 and it was still VERY snug

Absolutely loved this dress received so many compliments on it!! Fit perfectly and was super comfy!

This dress made me feel like a million bucks. The fabric is really beautiful, and the pattern is one of a kind. The material is very form fitting and doesn't leave much room to stretch. It's tight in the hips and across the collar bone. The length hits right above the knee, and the hem tapers in. For those with wider hips (like myself), I would suggest going up in size.

I typically wear a 2 or 4 in RTR dresses; however after reading the reviews I sized up for a 6. I'm so glad I did because it fit perfectly! There is very little stretch in the material, and no slit up the back. If the widest part of your body is your hips (pear) definitely size up. The fabric on the dress is amazing. So shiny and rich looking. I received a ton of compliments.

LOVED this dress! The metallic print makes the gray fun and different and there are pockets! This style does run a little smaller, so I would suggest sizing up. The material is thicker, so there isn't really a need for shapewear. I also really liked the V in the back! The dress is a great style for day-to-night events!

It runs small, so be sure to size up! The pockets and low back are so special, and the flecks of shiny silver make this dress so fun and fancy.

My Husband took me on a surprise date and picked out this dress for me to wear. I felt very Chic and Confident. It was a little long, not above the knee like on the model with no slit, this made walking up stairs a bit of a challenge, that's my only complaint. Would def rent again!

I wore this dress to my engagement party (cocktail attire) and it was perfect. It definitely runs small - I usually order a 2 and a 4 from RTR, but after reading the reviews of this dress I ordered a 4 and a 6 and wore the 6, with little to no room for error; the material has no give. That being said, if this dress fits you, it fits perfectly. The cut is very flattering, particularly if you are comfortable with your waist and stomach but less comfortable with your legs. Overall I felt great in this dress and I got compliments on it all night.

The dress fits pretty true to size, I did size up, but that's because there isn't a lot of stretch in the fabric and I have a big chest and butt. It is much shinier in person, so it's very dressy even though that doesn't show up in the pictures very much. It still looks good in pics just not as shiny. I wore it to a formal work Christmas party because I don't believe in wearing cleavage at work functions, but even though it's very conservative I got a lot of compliments from women and men. It's a very pretty dress. My second rental with RTR and I will rent again!

I wore this to my husband’s holiday party. Especially lovely for an office-type holiday festivity worn by an over-40 woman: a modest neckline, a "party" back (but still above the bra line), hemline not too short to meet the Chairman of the Board, cap sleeves to cover the pasty-white shoulders, a beautiful and unusual fabric to grab people’s attention, and enough style details in the construction to make a simple shape a very fashionable dress. SIZING: 8 was tight – I wore serious Spanx. But tight is the fashion now, right? (Hubs and HR swore it was okay, and it wasn’t inappropriate.) It's TRUE TO SIZE for small-sized brands. If you usually wear brands that serve my age-range and seem noticeably larger, this dress will run SMALL TO SIZE. Go up a #. Fabric moved with me well. I have a long torso, and the waist hit the right spot (and then curved around my butt nicely). ACCESSORIES: I wore a pair of vintage silver earrings which mirrored the colors of silver, cream and white in the paisleys of the fabric. Silver bracelets and bone shoes with a pair of light sheer hose (dead of winter and I didn’t spray tan!). Didn’t choose a necklace because everything seemed to detract from the design. OTHER TIPS: The fabric DID NOT WRINKLE. Arrived ready to wear, and I took photos at the END of the night. This dress would be appropriate a warmer month though I wouldn’t want to have to wear that much Spanx in the summer! Overall, I felt classy, confident and sexy in this dress. And my husband was quite proud of his arm candy. Definitely the right dress for the right occasion! Thank you RTR!!

Fit: This dress ran large for me. I am normally a 14/16 and the 14 was just small enough. I wear a 38DDD and there was still room for more! Pros: Chic! All day, everyday. No one wore a similar dress, there was no cleavage conscientiousness, and the back V still made is playful and a bit sexy. The cut accentuates curves - I loved this because I am Apple shaped. Similar to other reviewers, I felt chic, entirely feminine, and confident! Cons: The cut is not quite as flattering as a fit and flare, the zipper does fall open 1/8 of an inch at a time but it is nothing to worry about. The back gaped when I stood with proper posture. The thickness of the dress is heavy. Do not wear this for a summer wedding but spring and winter are perfect.

This dress was a substitute for the dress I had originally reserved for a wedding. I went with a different style, since this was a little more conservative than I was looking for. It is very nice quality, and the fabric has a pretty sparkle to it that you can't see in photos. It fit me nicely from under my chest down, but was a little roomy up top. The pockets are a neat addition. I am small in the hips, so those with a more curvy figure may need to go up a size.

I'm between a size 4-6 and sometimes 8 if there's no stretch but on this dress I had to get a 10 and fit good to a little tight, it runs really small but once I found my size I was pleased with the shape and everything

Loved it

I wore this for my rehearsal dinner 2 night before my wedding. I didn't want to wear white, so this silver-ish dress was perfect when I saw it on here. I had lost some weight before the wedding, so thought a 16 would work well based on other reviews, but had to wear the 18 because it was a little tight in the bust and rib area. The length was great though. I'm 6' tall and use to dresses being way too short and having to wear black tights but this worked well. It also has POCKETS which is always a plus. I wore this in December, so cap sleeves were better than sleeveless/strapless. Overall, it was a great rental (and the first time I did rent the runway!)

I wore this dress to a friend's 1060s/Mad Men themed New Years party. It was perfect for the occasion! I got tons of compliments. I can usually wear a 4, but this was a bit small on me. Sometimes I'll go up to a 6, but I ordered too close to New Years and the 6's were already gone. It wasn't too bad, just a bit snug. The zipper doesn't have a clasp at the top, so the dress would come unzipped a bit every now and then. But I asked my friends to keep an eye on it for me, and it was fine. All in all, I loved it!

I normally wear a 22 but I sized down. A little tight because of that decision. Has pockets which I love! Almost shimmers in the light because of the metallic print on it. Very soft and not scratchy at all. could have worn black shoes too but the nude felt right.

Hard to move your arms in but other than that great fit

It's very figure hugging but the material is gorgeous. You'll need a flat tummy to wear this. I just had a baby so needed a blazer to cover up. Love this! :)

I felt beautiful in this dress! Kind of tight around the rib cage and chest, but overall a lovely fit. I ordered a 4 (my usual size) and a 6, and the 6 was still a little tight on me. But I was able to wear it all night/day without any issues!! I liked the shape of the dress and the material. I would recommend and I would wear it again!!

LOVED THIS DRESS! Such a great fit (even though it ran small) and I got SO MANY compliments on it! Flattering and chic, the silver pattern was magnificent! Would definitely wear again for another occasion. It was very form-fitting which made it a bit hard to move but it looked phenomenal.

Normally wear a size 14, but the 16W worked out great. Pros: color, beautiful designs, the pockets, cropped sleeves, and the length. Con: the zipper unzipped a couple of time during the event but still fabulous nonetheless!

The dress was gorgeous and perfect for a holiday party. Photos do not do it justice. It is so shiny and a beautiful silver color. It is a tight fit so spanx are helpful for creasing but I think it runs true to size. I ordered the 6 as a backup but ended up going with the 4 because it fit better.

I was asked to officiate my friends' wedding, and got this dress officially approved by the bride for the occasion. This dress is way more beautiful in person than you can tell from photos. It fit beautifully and was extremely comfortable. And.. pockets. It has pockets, which were perfect for hiding the wedding bands until needed. I was very tempted to just keep the dress, but I would definitely rent it again.

Fit true to size and very flattering. Comfortable and very elegant

I love a dress with pockets and I got a lot of compliments. But it is extremely tight. I usually wear a 2 or 4, but wish I got this in a 6.

This dress was fabulous. I received so many compliments. I wore it for a Gala at my job and it was the perfect mix of sparkly and conservative. Also the pockets were clutch for carrying my phone, keys, etc. The fit was ideal for my body type.

This was such a fun dress to wear! It runs true to size and is fitted with a little stretch. I'm 5'8" and it hit just above my knees. The fabric is thicker, but not hot. I did wear a low back bodysuit under the dress just because it has a 'v' back and my regular bras showed just a bit. The color is more on the blue side than photos show, but I still got away with black heels. I did have some issue with the zipper coming down when I moved because there is no hook and eye, but I just had a friend stick a safety pin through the zipper and it kept it from moving down. Overall, it's a wonderful dress for a night out! It's beautiful and shows that it's a quality made dress.

This dress was fabulous! I wore it to a coworker's wedding and received so many compliments. It was comfortable, had pockets, and was a great (subtle) statement dress. I have recently gained some weight, so I erred on the side of caution and ordered a 16W and 18W. The 16W was a bit big (I would typically wear a regular 16 in most dresses... so maybe I just don't get what the "W" means... haha....) and wish I would have ordered the next size down. As it was, the fit of the 16W was comfy but gaped in the back and I felt like I had to watch my bra strap all night. But that was my sizing mistake - the dress itself was great!

Definitely a snug fit, as I usually wear a 0, but the 2 worked out well.

Tight up top a little

This dress fit perfectly. It was beautiful and everyone was raving about how stunning it is. I will definitely be renting this dress again for future weddings.

I wore this as a maid of honor dress for my mom's wedding and I ordered the 16 and 18. The 18 wasn't available to ship, but the 16 fit very well! I found the dress to fit true to size for the most part, but it was a little awkward in the arms/shoulders. Whenever I moved my arms, the dress would unzip slightly so I had to keep re-zipping throughout the day. Despite the overall good quality of the dress, I probably won't rent again from this company because of customer service issues.

This dress was so pretty! Thick material. It has pockets! The only thing I had to modify was the zipper, it kept falling. Nothing a safety pin couldn't fix. Rent this dress! Beautiful

5'7, 220lbs, 36H, usually size 14, got this in 16 as other reviewers said to size up and it was the perfect fit. Almost no stretch to the fabric. Wore this to a bridal shower, was beautiful and comfortable, however the zipper came unzipped slowly while I was sitting down and I didn't notice until it was halfway down my back. Wore it with a shrug as it was cold inside. The fabric is really beautiful in person, I would rent this again!

I rented this dress for a 1920s themed party. It was perfect, however this dress was tight. I normally wear a size 10 but in this dress the 12 was still very snug.

The fit ran a little small. The 0 was too tight but the 2 fit perfectly. It was a gorgeous dress, very thick material. My only complaint is that it was a little tight around my neck when I sat.

I got compliments all night! I was worried this would be too big as I normally wear a size 16, but this fit perfectly.

This dress has zero elasticity and runs exactly to size. The photo does not capture how silver and sparkly it is in person. It looks great on camera and I would highly recommend for any public appearances or events that will be photographed!

This dress was the perfect mix of conservative with a sheath like cut but still youthful with a low back and shimmer that made it perfect for a holiday party with mostly friends of my parents. Pockets were an added bonus. I though the material was thinner and stretchier than expected and the low back zipper kept slipping down (due to wear?). I did not think this was the most flattering dress with the diagonal seams on the top and the damask or paisley pattern accentuating hips. A fitted or snugger size may have lessened this effect. I agree it runs small but it is stretchy so I could have kept my normal size. Thought it was too big in the bust and the back stood away from me. Overall fun and comfortable and good for tall girls.
